Scriptures make it clear that giving of thanks to God is what every man owe God, particularly the believer 2Ths. 2:13; 1:3; Eph. 5:20; 1Cor. 4:7. As a commission, we have experienced diverse fulfilment of prophecies by the raw hands of God, to which we are indebted to God in appreciation 1Kgs. 8:15; Deu. 18:21-22.
Examples of fulfilled Prophecies in this Commission.
- A prophetic word went forth that we shall soon see millions gather to hear the word.
This has continued to be fulfilled over the years through Shiloh platform among others, with same order of impact across the nations Jn. 6:44. At Shiloh 2024, we saw several millions connected through various social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube etc. from over 150 nations, and major TV networks.
- God’s word says the path of the just us as a shining light, which means a promise of continuous increase for the believer 4:18.
Attendance date shows massive increase over last year Shiloh across our various viewing centers.
- Scriptures promise that every time we gather at Shiloh, there shall be manifestation of God resulting in subduing of the land and delivery of missing inheritance 18:1-3.
This was our experience at Shiloh 2024, with the stronger waves of signs, wonders, and diverse miracles that were recorded.
Why must We Give God Thanks?
- We are commanded not to owe anything.
Scriptures state clearly that we are not to owe any man anything Rms. 13:8. This means that we are to give God thanks immediately at all times like that one leper did Lk. 17:15-17.
- To preserve our blessings.
God’s blessings are meant to be forever because whatever God does is ordained to be forever Ecc. 3:14. We must understand that everything in the kingdom comes with responsibility, and the responsibility for preservation giving thanks for the blessing Mal. 2:1-3.
- To multiply our blessings.
A principle of God’s kingdom is that God gives the seed, and leaves man with the responsibility to make it multiply to harvest, which is what will satisfy Isa. 55:10; 2Cor. 9:10. In essence, every blessing from God is a seed, it has to be multiplied to brings satisfaction. Thanksgiving is the covenant force that multiplies God’s blessing Jer. 30:19-22; Jn. 6:11-12; Acts 2:47.
- To perfect our blessings.
What God gives is often in the raw state, man has the responsibility to move God to perfect it Lk. 17:15-19. We understand from scriptures that giving of thanks is the covenant way to move God to perfect our blessing Psa. 138:1,8.
In conclusion, thanksgiving is one of the kingdom weapons, it is not carnal but mighty in power and effect 2Cor. 10:4. It’s not enough to give thanks, we must do it quickly to avoid the reversal of the blessings Jer. 13:15-17. This is what we are doing here today!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, cloth me with the garment of praise right now, thereby make thanksgiving and praise to become a lifestyle from today 61:3.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, as I engage in thanksgiving and praise, cause the remaining days of this year to deliver greater blessing than what I have experienced since the year began put together 30:19.

Prayer and fasting are commandments of God to every believer, as found in scriptures Isa. 58:6; Mat. 6:6-7,17-18. While these are commandments, they are not burdens but blessings of unfathomable dimension Jer, 23:33-40. Though Prayer and fasting come at a cost, this cost pales in comparison to the glory in return Psa. 63:1-3; 2Cor. 4:17. […]
We serve the God who instructs; He does not merely give advice or admonition but commands Isa. 55:10. Every word of God is a command; the bible is a compendium of God’s commandments Jos. 1:8; Psa. 19:7-8. The good news is that every commandment of God is for the profit of man when obeyed Due. […]
Whatever God says is what He is committed to make happen 1Kgs. 8:15. This is because prophecies are ordained to be fulfilled Isa. 55:10-11; 34:16. We have said that there are three (3) main sources of prophecy: i) The scriptures 1:19-21; Isa. 34:16. ii) Directly from the Holy Spirit 16:12-14. iii) From prophets sent our […]
Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s coming into the world Lk. 2:10-12. It marks the gift of God, embodied in Jesus Christ. Understanding why Christ came is crucial for us to truly benefit from Christmas Psa. 119:144. Without this understanding, Christmas can become merely a religious ceremony, offering little more than excitement Pro. 21:16. Why […]
