God’s word is loaded with wonders; how much of it is revealed to a believer determines how much he experiences (Psa. 119:18; Gen. 13:14-15). This means that the life of wonder ordained by redemption will only become a reality to the extent believers catch revelation of the wonders in the word (Isa. 8:18). What are these wonders in the word?

What is in the Word?

  1. The Wonder of Prophetic.

God’s word is prophetic (2Pet. 1:19-21; Lk. 1:45). This means that every word in the Bible is ordained for fulfilment, if a believer can only see it (Psa. 119:18; Isa. 14:24; 55:10-11; Mat. 24:35).

  1. The Wonder of Transformation.

God’s Word transforms; encounters with the light in the word transform lives (Isa. 9:8; 60:1-3,22). Walking in the light of scripture changes a person’s story from glory to glory (Rms. 12:2; 2Cor. 3:18).

  1. The Wonder of Creativity.

God’s Word is creative; it has the ability to bring into existence what has never been before. All things were created by the word including man (Heb. 11:3; Jn. 1:1-3; Gen. 1:26-27). With God’s word, anything dead or dying in and around an individual’s life would be re-created into life (Jn. 11:40-41).

How to Tap into the Wonders of the Word.

  1. Be Committed to the Lifestyle of Prayer and Fasting.

Prayer and fasting guarantee the tearing off satanic blindfolds, resulting in the outbreak of light from God’s word (Isa. 58:6-8; 2Cor. 4:4; 3:14).

  1. Prompt Response to Every Light Encountered.

When God sees that an individual will respond promptly, He grants him access to the light in His word; it is disobedience or reluctance in response that blocks believers from accessing light (Gen. 12:1-4; 22:1-5,16-18). This is why a determination to be prompt in responding to whatever we see in the word is vital for access to light (Pro. 1:23).

  1. Be Committed to Giving God All the Glory.

When we celebrate God for the light encountered in His word, we gain access to greater light (Psa. 100:4). This means that a lifestyle of thanksgiving and praise is gateway to unhindered access to the light of God’s word (Jer. 13:15-17; Isa. 12:3; Mal. 2:1-3).

Conclusion.

With God’s word, a believer is an unstoppable force in life! The challenge is that many fail to take responsibility to labor in the word for light because of their spiritual laziness.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, endow me with grace to embrace the demands for accessing the wonders in the word, and experiencing the benefits (1Cor. 15:10).
