Redemption brought believers out of the miry clay into the life of wonders (Isa. 8:18). God’s Word is the depot of these wonders; how much his eyes are opened to see determines the amount of wonders he will experience (Gen. 13:14-15; Psa. 119:18). A believer is not designed to struggle to experience a life of wonders; he simply needs to labor in God’s wonder to see the wonders, for them to become his reality in life.

Declaration:

  • OH FATHER, OPEN MY EYES TO THE WONDERS IN YOUR WORD!
  • CAUSE ME TO SEE WHAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT YOU ORDAINED FOR ME IN YOUR WORD!

Some of the Wonders in the Word.

  1. The Wonder of Spiritual Seed.

God’s Word is a spiritual and an incorruptible seed; encounters in the word are akin to sowing a seed (1Pet. 1:23; Lk. 8:11). Harvest is guaranteed when the seed is sown into a good and honest heart (Mk. 4:26-28,30-32; Isa. 55:10-11).

  1. The Wonder of Divine Nature.

God’s Word carries divine nature; every encounter in the word enhances one’s divine nature content (Jn. 6:63,66-68; 2Pet. 1:4). The higher a believer’s divine nature content, the higher his walk in dominion (2Cor. 12:7; Acts 19:14-15).

  1. The Wonder of Medicinal.

God’s Word is medicinal; it is the balm in Gilead (Pro. 4:20-22; Jer. 8:19-22). This means that God’s Word carries healing power; encounter in the Word grants believer’s access to the power that heals and makes whole (Mat. 8:8,13,16; 4:23).

How to Tap into the Wonders of the Word.

  1. Walk By Faith.

Faith can be simply defined as confidence in God and His Word, which makes a believer unshaken in the face of contrary and adverse situations (Mat. 9:27-29). This confidence is believer’s access to the wonders in the Word (Heb. 10:35; 2Cor. 5:7).

  1. Walk in the Covenant of Scriptures.

The covenant of Scripture refers to the conditions that makes God committed to the delivery of His word and promises in a believer’s life (Psa. 89:34; Num. 23:23). A commitment to these conditions means walking in the covenant, and it is a believer’s access to the wonders in the Word (Jer. 33:20-21; Heb. 6:16-18).

  1. Connect with the Teaching Ministry of the Priesthood.

There are anointed teaching priests; their mission is to help open the eyes of believers to the Word of God, thereby granting access to the wonders in the word (Jer. 3:15-16; Isa. 30:20-21). Locate such, connect to them, and your life will soon become full of wonders (2Chr. 15:3-7,12-15).

Conclusion.

No matter how terrible your life may appear to be now, it can turn to a wonder. All that is needed is for you to accept responsibility to labor in the Word to the point of beholding the wonders relevant to your area of concern.

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, endow me with grace to embrace the demands for accessing the wonders in the word, and experiencing the benefits (1Cor. 15:10).
