A core wonder of the altar of prayer and fasting is express answer to prayers Isa. 58:6,9. When the prayer and fasting altar is engaged in the scriptural way, it transforms the believer into a wonder being Exo. 34:28-35; Dan. 2:12-19,46; 6:10,21-22; Lk. 9:28-35. Therefore, prayer and fasting are not burdens but blessings to the believer.

Scriptural Way to Engage the Altar of Prayer and Fasting.

We are examining three (3) fundamental ways to engage the altar the altar of prayer and fasting to command express answer. Prepare yourself for encounters!

  1. Engaging God’s word on the altar of prayer and fasting.

When scriptures are engaged in the place of prayer and fasting, express answer is guaranteed Hos. 14:2; 1Jn. 5:14-15.

  1. Engaging prophetic intervention on the altar of prayer and fasting 1Sam. 1:3,15-17,27; Ezr. 4:22-24; 5:1-2.
  2. i) Recognize that every prophetic scripture is a sworn verdict, settled in heaven forever 119:89; Isa. 14:24.
  3. ii) Understand that every prophetic scripture is a covenant that remains in force while the earth remains 30:20-21; Mat. 24:35.
  • iii) Acknowledge that every prophetic scripture applies for all times and to whosoever believes 1:28; Lk. 1:45.

The Prophetic Word for this Year.

We are in the new era year as a commission Isa.43:18-19. Among other things, this means the following:

  1. i) A new dawn: New things never experienced or known shall happen in our lives 30:15.
  2. ii) The opening of new chapters: New chapter of our destiny shall be opening up this year 29:11-12; 2Cor. 3:18.
  • iii) A favorable change of story: A change of story that will be stress-free, and without effort, but rather God’s hand at work 102:13-15.
  1. iv) An upward change of story: Liftings that take us to the top in life, regardless of credentials 3:17-19.
  2. v) A marvelous change of story: Changes beyond the explanation 118:23; 126:1-2. Like the change Joseph experienced at Egypt Gen. 41:14,37-44.
  3. vi) An enviable change of story: Changes that leaves others speechless G 26:12-14; Gal. 4:28.

  1. Thanksgiving is essential for taking delivery of answers to prayers.

It is one thing to have God answer prayer, and another for man to take delivery of the answer in reality Dan. 10:12-14; 1Cor. 16:9. Thanksgiving is the covenant force with which believers take delivery of answer to prayer Php. 4:6-7; 1Ths. 5:18; Heb. 10:36.

Therefore, for our engagement on the prayer and fasting altar, we should therefore expect the following transformations:

  1. i) Afflictions turned to celebrations 30:11.
  2. ii) Shame and reproach turned to glory 3:17-20.
  • iii) Every plague of sickness and disease turned to health 58:6,8; Jer. 20:17.
  1. iv) Bareness turned to fruitfulness 23:25-26.
  2. v) Pity turned to envy 26:12-14; Gal. 4:28.
  3. vi) Curses turned to blessing 3:13-14.
  • Captivity turned to liberty 126:1-4.
  • Slavery turned to enthronement 5:9-10.
  1. ix) Struggles turned to miracles 3:8.

In conclusion, you have prayed and fasted, God has heard and answered already. Let us engage in thanksgiving for our prayers thus far, by praising God for supernatural delivery of the answers.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, thank you for the answer to all my prayers thus far in this ongoing 21-day prayer and fasting, for the delivery of answers 11:41.
