God’s will for the redeemed is dominion over the forces of sickness, disease and affliction, which will make for the health and wholeness of the believer 3Jn. 2. The truth is that Jesus has paid the full price for the believer to live above sickness and disease Isa. 53:3-5; 1Cor. 6:20; 1Pet. 2:24. But the dominion of the believer is premised on sound understanding of the truth Jn. 8:32; Hos. 4:6; Isa. 5:13. The understanding is of the forces behind sickness, and the weapons of our warfare to subdue those forces 2Cor. 10:4-5; 1Sam. 17:32-50.

Spirit Behind Sickness and Disease.

1. The spirit of pride.

The scriptures identify the spirit of pride Pro. 16:19; Ecc. 7:8. This influences the believer to over-estimate self, which results into his fall and destruction Hos. 5:5-6; Pro. 16:18. One major area of this fall and destruction is in health.

1. Deaf and dumb spirit.

The scriptures identifies the deaf and dumb spirit Mk. 9:17,25. This afflicts the vocal and auditory organs to impair their functionality, which results in the inability to speak and hear Mat. 9:32-33; 12:22; Lk. 11:14. This could be partial of total in their effect.

Our Weapons for Dominion over Sickness.

One of the weapons for the believer’s dominion over sickness and disease is the prophetic mantle 2Kgs. 2:13-14. What is the prophetic mantle? It is any clothing material taken from the hand of an anointed one, which therefore carries the anointing upon such individual Acts 19:11-12.

How the Prophetic Mantle Empowers for Dominion over Sickness and Disease.

1. It is a spiritual instrument for transference of power.

Through the clothing material that touches the anointing, the power of God on that anointed is transferred to others who touch it, producing same effect 2Kgs. 2:13-15.

1. It is a spiritual instrument ordained to duplicate the anointing in others .

Through contact with the material, the believer is supernaturally upgraded into the class of the anointed to function 2Kgs. 2:13-15.

1. It is an instrument of power ordained to extend the impact of an anointed.

The mantle manifests the grace of the anointed to produce the same order of result as if he is physically present Mat. 9:20-23; 14:34-36. This makes places he has not reached physically to experience his impact.

1. It is a spiritual instrument to invoke the manifestations of special miracles.

When the mantle is engaged, special miracles answer to the believer Acts 19:11-12.

What is in the Mantle that Heals?

1. The overflowing anointing on the anointed one.

The anointing of God on the anointed one is what is resident in the mantle that makes it to heal. This is because by the anointing, every satanic burden are lifted and yokes are destroyed Isa. 10:27. Therefore, the mantle will bring healing, deliverance, and special miracle of all sorts Mat. 9:21-23; 12:21-26; Lk. 8L45-48; Acts 19:11-12.

Requirements for the Mantle to Deliver.

The anointing in the mantle does not answer in everyone’s hand, but only those who meet the requirements 2Kgs. 4:29-31.

1. Believe in the person and ministry of who own the mantle.

Any anointed a believer does not believe in his person and ministry, is one that what He carries cannot flow to you Mat. 10:41; Mk. 6:5-6.

• Recognize that he occupies a higher place in God than you.

The anointing only flows from a higher vessel to a lower, when the lower recognizes and admits this Heb. 7:7; Php. 2:5-9; Mat. 5:5.

• Honor him in your heart.

It is with the heart that we connect to and collect spiritual things Isa. 29:12; Mk. 6:4. A heart that holds the anointed in high esteem is a requirement for the mantle of that anointed to work in one’s hand.

• Crave for what he carries.

A crave means to be desperate for a thing, which commits God to deliver what the believer craves for 2Kgs. 2:4,6,8.

• Get rid of sin in your life.

Sin will always stop the flow of the anointing Rms. 6:1-2. The only solution to the sin question is the blood of Jesus, which we invoke by repentance and renounce of sin 1Jn. 1:8-10.

In conclusion, what God cannot do does not exist Mk. 10:27. Whatever is the sickness, disease or affliction right now, God is set to heal and set free as He releases His anointing for the healing, health and wholeness of everyone. Get set to be empowered for dominion over sickness and disease for life right now.
