By redemption, the believer has been restored to the life of dominion God originally intended for man on the earth Gen. 1:27-28; Jn. 10:10. The scriptures make us to understand that at the end-time that we are already in, the wicked will be more vicious, which is why God has ordained for the church at the end-time to walk in dominion in all aspects of life Dan. 7:25-27; Psa. 110:1-3. What the church need is the understanding of our weapons of warfare, which are guaranteed to make our dominion happen 2Cor. 10:4-6. But for dominion over sickness and disease, we must first understand that at the root of sickness and disease is a spirit at work Mat. 8:16-17; Acts 10:38.

The Spirit behind Diverse Sickness and Disease.

1. The Spirit of whoredom.

This is the spirit behind all kinds of sexual immoral acts and lifestyle, like illicit sex, pornography, masturbation etc. Hos. 5:4; 1Cor. 6:18-20; 10:8. These immoral acts are the principal channel for all sexually transmitted diseases.

1. The spirit of heaviness.

This is the spirit behind things like lack of joy, sorrow of heart, being unthankful, and the likes Isa. 61:3. Joy is a medicine that averts diverse sickness, disease and afflictions, which is the reason why the believer is instructed to be joyful always Pro. 17:22; 18:14.

Provisions to Walk in Dominion over sicknesses and Diseases.

1. Anointing with the oil.

The anointing oil is another mystery of God’s kingdom that was unveiled in the Old Testament, but ordained for use all through generations Exo. 30:22-25,31. Anointing with the oil guarantees healing, health and wholeness of the believer Mk. 6:12-13; Jms. 5:14-15.

How Anointing with the Oil Empowers for Dominion over Sickness and Disease?

The anointing oil is a spiritual medium through which the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in our lives 1Sam. 16:13. From scriptures, we understand that when the Holy spirit that raised Christ from the dead manifest, He quickens the believer mortal body Rms. 8:11; Eph. 4:4. In essence, through the anointing oil the person of the Holy Spirit is transmitted to the believer, thereby empowering him for healing, health and wholeness.

What is the Anointing oil that Heals?

1. The healing power of God.

The Holy Spirit in the oil is the power dimension of God Acts 1:8. God’s power makes every spirit to bow, resulting in healing Psa. 66:3; Mat. 10:1; Mk. 6:7,12-13.

1. The Spirit of the Lord that destroys yokes.

This Spirit of the Lord in the anointing oil has the capacity to destroy all yokes of the wicked in the life of the believer instantly Isa. 10:27; 61:1-2; Lk. 4:18.

1. The Spirit of the Lord that sets free the captive.

The Spirit of God to the anointing oil sets free from all powers of darkness, which hold the believer captive in life 2Cor. 3:17.

1. The Spirit of the Lord that exempt from evil.

The Spirit of the Lord in the anointing oil has the power to exempt the believer from all evil of the day Psa. 105:13-15; Eph. 1:13.

• The mystery of the fan and fire destroys sickness and disease.

The Holy Spirit in the anointing oil is a mystery of the fan and fire Mat. 3:11-12. When the Holy Spirit gets into the believer, by His fan all things not of God are gathered and burnt off by His fire Mat. 15:13; Heb. 12:29. This is the reason why we take shot of the anointing oil, o engage the mystery of the fan and fire of the Holy Spirit for our restoration of health and wholeness.

In conclusion, we must not allow the error of the children of Ephraim, who were well armed but turned back in defeat at the face of confrontation in our lives again Psa. 78:9. We must not give Satan any place again around us, wherever we see him at work, he is to be kicked out!

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me, thank you Jesus for restoring me, thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

1. Father in the name of Jesus, I take authority over every spirit manifesting as sickness or disease in my life, and cast them out now Mk. 16:17.
2. Father in the name of Jesus, by the mystery of the anointing oil, every burden of sickness, disease and affliction is destroyed in my life now Isa. 10:27.
3. Father by the Spirit of God, I take my total liberty from every sickness, disease and oppression of the devil right now 2Cor. 3:17.
4. Father by the mystery of the fan and fire of the Holy Spirit, every sickness and disease in my body is swept and burnt to ashes now Mat. 3:11-12.
