Every true believer is ordained for a life of wonder and greatness, particularly in these last days Isa. 8:18; 2:2-3. Remember, whatever God has ordained cannot be stopped by any force Isa. 14:24,27; Num. 23:19. But the believer that will experience what God ordained in reality must accept required responsibility, and in this case it is love for God 1Cor. 2:9; 13:8.13. Love is a personal decision, and knowledge is what empowers this decision Mat. 6:24.

The Wonders in Love for God.

1. Genuine love for God stirs the heart of the believer to crave for God’s house.

When one is in love, the house of the person one is in love with becomes attractive and exciting to visit always. In essence, love for God makes the believer to become committed to God’s house, in regular attendance, active participation and service Psa. 122:1-2; 84:1-4. The wonder of this is that the house of God is where giants are raised, thereby making the believer to emerge a giant by his commitment due to love for God Psa. 87:5-7; Oba. 21.

• Genuine love for God facilitates answer to our prayer.

The voice of one’s beloved is always a delight to one’s ears; it soothes the heart and will always receive unhindered attention no matter how busy one might be. In essence, when the believer is a lover of God, God is always excited to hear that believer’s voice and will attend to it with dispatch Isa. 65:24. David was an addicted lover of God, and he enjoyed express answer in prayer always 1Sam. 13:14; 30:6-9,17-18; 2Sam. 5:18-22.

• Genuine love for God puts the believer in command of the supernatural.

The scriptures make us to understand that love for God fills the believer with the fullness of God Eph. 3:17-19. By this, the believer is practically operating in the class of God, where all things are possible Mk. 10:27; Acts 14:11. In essence, love for God translates the believer from humanity to divinity, thereby manifesting the supernatural as his normal experience.

• Genuine love for God unleashes the blessing of God on believers.

Love for God endears the believer to God, thereby giving him access to God’s asset, popularly known as God’s blessing Jn. 15:15. Abraham is a vivid example, his choice to love God turned him into God’s beloved as God constantly referred to him as a friend Jms. 2:23; Isa. 41:8; 2Chr. 21:7. The end result was that Abraham became the blessed of God, and God’s blessing turned his story into the wonder we celebrate till today Gen. 24:1; Isa. 51:1-3.

In conclusion, life is a product of each one’s choice, not the situation, what others say, the location or the background Deu. 30:19. One right decision or choice has the power to turn the course of a man’s life, as it will trigger a cascade of right choices, which will result into total turnaround of the man’s life. The choice to love God with all of one’ strength, might and mind is the game changer in life. Make the right choice today, and bring an end to your days of toiling, failure, and struggles.

Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. 1. Father in the name of Jesus, whatever that is contesting with the love for God in my heart is flushed out now by the blood of Jesus Heb. 9:14.
2. Father in the name of Jesus, I make the choice to love for God above all, hence my life shall be ruled by the love for God from today Mat. 6:24.
3. Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit to keep growing in my love for God from today Rms. 5:5.
