UNVEILING THE RESCUE POWER OF LIGHT.

The scriptures make us to understand that we are at the end time, a time that darkness will cover the earth Joel 2:1-2;  Isa. 60:2. And as we draw closer to the day of Christ final return, the darkness will increase in intensity Isa. 60:2. What does this imply? It means that sin and wickedness will be on the increase at the end time Mat. 24:12; Dan. 12:10. The intention of hell is to deceive and derail the believer from the faith into hell Mat. 24:12,21-22. But the believer is ordained for the life of triumph no matter the darkness 2Cor. 2:14.

The Secret of the Believer’s Triumph in Darkness.

The armor of light is the believer’s secret to the triumphant life in the midst of darkness Jn. 1:1-5; Rms. 13:12. This is because the dominion of light over darkness is always, instant and unquestionable. Access to light is the only way to be set free from the assault of the powers of darkness Isa. 60:1-3; Mat. 4:1-11. And it is walking in the light that confirms the dominion of the believer in the midst of darkness Jn. 12:35-36; 1:5.

Scriptural Examples of Men that Dominated in Life by Light.

  1. Christ Jesus.

When Christ the light of the world walked here on earth, the powers of   darkness could not stand on His way Lk. 4:34; 8:28.

       ii. Peter.

When light shined in the prison, God’s angel stepped in and rescued Peter Acts 12:5-11.

Therefore, there is hope of rescue for everyone held by any force of captivity today Ecc. 9:4; Heb. 2:3; 1Pet. 1:3-4.

Access to Light that Rescues from the Power of Darkness.

  1. One must be born again and remain so.

Every man yet to be born again belongs to the kingdom of darkness, and is under the powers of darkness Eph. 2:1-3. Becoming born again translate the believer from the kingdom of darkness into that of light Col. 1:13-14; Eph. 1:20-21; 2:6. In essence, until a man is genuinely born again, he cannot access the light that rescues from darkness in life.

  1. Embrace the fear of God as a lifestyle.

The fear of God is to hate sin and evil, which makes a man to run from them Pro. 8:13; Gen. 42:18; 39:7-9. It grants sustainable access to light in life Psa. 25:14. The fear of God gave Joseph and Daniel access t light, which rescued them from the powers of darkness in their generation Gen. 41:38-44; Dan. 5:11-12; 6:4-5.

  1. Engage the altar of prayer and fasting.

The altar of prayer and fasting is the altar of illumination, which results in light Isa. 68:6,8; Jer. 33:3. In essence, when we engage the prayer and fasting altar, we gain access to light on any subject of interest Psa. 119:18; Mat. 7:7-8. This is particularly by praying the prayer of enquiry, or asking valuable questions in the place of prayer Dan. 2:16-19.

  1. Engage the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

One of the ways the Holy Spirit help the believer is as the Spirit of revelation, to grant the believer access to God’s light Eph. 1:17-18; 1Cor. 2:10. The Holy Spirit is also teaches and reminds the believer God’s word that results in spiritual understanding, which is what we call light that results in change of story Jn. 14:26; 2Tim. 2:15; 4:13. In essence, the believer must depend on the Holy Spirit for access to light that rescues in life.

  1. Stay in liver with God.

The love of God at work in the believer grants him access to the secrets of God, which is another way to describe light Jn. 15:15; 1Cor. 2:9-10. The love of God simply means love for what God loves, which essentially are His word Psa. 138:2; His house Psa. 87:2; the souls of men Jn. 3:16. The love of God is validated by showing proves of love for the things that God love 1Jn. 3:18.

  1. Maintain joy and rejoicing in our hearts

Joy is the kingdom virtue that empowers the believer to draw every benefit available in the kingdom, including light Isa. 12:3. In essence, the believer must maintain a heart of joy to gain access to light Php. 4:4.

  1. Continue to give glory to God.

God is light, therefore access to His presence guarantee the outbreak of light on the believer Jn. 1:5; Psa. 118:27. Giving glory to God, which is praise, will always invoke God’s presence that will result in light on the believer Psa. 22:3; Jer. 13:15-17. When giving God the glory becomes the way of life for the believer, he will live in the realms of light.
