Our God is a God that loves and operates by the family system Gen. 1:26-28; 2:18. God’s design is to bring every family under His blessing, thereby making every life that comes through that family to enjoy His blessing naturally Gen. 12:3.

God’s Commitment to the Blessing of the Household.

Redemption changes the lineage of an individual from that of his natural parent, to become a member of the household of God Jn. 1:12; Eph. 2:19. This has two-fold effects:

  1. With this change, every curse, spell and enchantments identified with our natural or biological lineage has no more hold on our lives Gal. 3:13-14,29.
  2. God becomes committed to the salvation of everyone in our household Acts. 16:30-32.

All over scriptures, we see God saving one person and this culminating in the salvation of the entire household.

Examples:

  1. Noah         Gen. 7:13.
  2. Abraham   Gen. 22:16-8.
  3. Joseph      Gen. 45:5-7.
  4. Rahab       Jos. 6:21-25.
  5. Esther       Esth. 4:14-15; 5; 6.
  6. Cornelius  Acts 10:1-3,24,41.
  7. The Jailer  Acts 16:30-33.

How to Bring Our Entire Household under God’s Blessing.

Until those connected to us come under God’s blessing, they are not free from the siege of the wicked. And until this is done, they will not permit us to enjoy the blessing of God on our lives to the fullest.

  1. Understand that by our salvation God is committed to the salvation of our household, and believe God for it Acts 16:31; Lk. 1: 45.

God’s will is to save everyone connected to us, but our faith for it is what will move Him to do it.

  • Pray to demand for the salvation of all family members yet to be saved Matt. 7:7-8; 1Jn. 5:14-15.

One way to take delivery of anything that is God’s will is to demand for it in prayer.

  • Plead for mercy to break every spell associated with the life of unrighteousness and serving other gods Exo. 20:3-5; Psa. 16:4.

Mercy is the expression of God’s loving-kindness that overwrites the evil and wrong an individual has done, and gives him reward instead of judgment and punishment. We plead for God’s mercy after we have acknowledged our wrong, in order to enjoy blessing in the place of curses.

  • Enter into a covenant to serve God Jos. 24:15; Matt. 6:24.

The choice to serve God as an individual invokes God’s blessing on the believer, which terminates all curses, spells on his lineage Exo. 23:25. Serving God also delivers the believer from all the troubles the lineage suffers from, thereby bringing him into all-round rest Exo. 4:22-23; 2Chr. 15:12-15.

  • Pray for a wall of fire around our family against the siege of evil Job 22:28; Jms. 4:2.

These evil siege include; diseases, stagnation, frustration, untimely death etc. As one redeemed, we have the authority to set a new standard over our biological lineage, thereby giving everyone that belong to the lineage a new experience to enjoy.

In conclusion, God’s will is for every family on the earth to be blessed. And no matter what happens, God’s will is what will always stand Psa. 15:21. I see your family come under God’s blessings from today.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, by the blood of Jesus every negative handwriting on my lineage and family is erased now, and let there be the outpouring of your blessing to give a new name to my family from today Col. 2:14.
