UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL 280523 PT. 4.

The scriptures make us to understand that new birth brought the believer out as a new creature 2Cor. 5:17. At the point of giving one’s life to Christ, one comes out a new creature and not a new man. A creature is something that has been created, whether animate or inanimate. For instance, fish is a creature, birds are creature, angels are creature, man is a creature etc. In essence, before new birth the individual was a man, but after new birth he is a new type of creature. What type of creature or who is this new creature that new birth has made out of man? Until we know who we are as believers, we will remain limited and unable to do what we are designed to do as believers Jdg. 6:11-14; Exo. 4:1-2.

Who am I as a Believer?

  1. I am redeemed for unending progress.

The new creature the believer has been turned into is one that cannot be resisted nor stopped by any force on the earth, as long as he sees who he is now Pro. 4:18; 2Cor. 3:18. The believer by reason of redemption is above every force at work on the earth that comes against and stops others. In essence, the believer now operates at a realm above natural and earthly Jn. 3.31.

  • I am redeemed to command exploits.

Exploits can be defined as a result that is beyond the normal, ordinary and natural. The believer by redemption is now loaded with abilities that makes him to deliver results at levels beyond the natural, which men cannot but notice and exclaim Lk. 5:26. This level of result makes the believer a global personality that men will wonder at Gal. 3:29; Gen. 12:1-3; 22:17-18. This is not because of his certificate or training, but a product of what happened at new birth Mat. 5:13-14.

  • I am redeemed a king to reign on the earth.

The dictionary defined a king as a ‘supreme being’ over a defined territory. Redemption turned a believer into a ‘supreme being’ on the earth, whose authority cannot be questioned Rev. 5:9-10; 2Pet. 1:9. In essence, the believer is to have it as he wants or says it on the earth Ecc. 8:4.

Everything about the new creature that the believer is by redemption is a life that is beyond natural. Therefore, the believer is supernatural. But this supernatural is loaded in him, waiting to be unlocked for him to experience it in reality Rms. 8:19; Col. 1:27; 1Jn. 4:4.

How to Unlock the Supernatural?

  1. Engage the power of praise.

Every time the believer gets into praise, he invokes the supernatural into manifestation Acts 16:25-30; Jn. 6:6-11; 11:40-44. In essence, the believer that desires to experience the reality of the supernatural that new birth has brought him into must make praise his lifestyle.

What happens in praise that guarantees the manifestation of the supernatural?

  1. Praise invokes God’s presence in the believer’s life and situation.

From scriptures, we see praise as God’s place of habitation; when praise goes up, God comes to dwell with that believer. God’s presence with the believer transforms him to become like God, a supernatural being Pro. 13:20. In essence, praise will trigger the supernatural in the believer into reality.

  1. Praise moves God to do fearful things.

Praise creates the workshop for God to do His strange works and acts Exo. 15:11; Isa. 28:21. This is why the atmosphere of praise is always the atmosphere of miracles.

iii) Praise stirs the release of fresh oil on the believer.

Every time the believer engages in praise, fresh oil is released on his life Psa. 92:1-2,10. In the same way fresh oil enhances the performance of engines; fresh oil enables the believer to perform as a new creature (the supernatural) that he is. In essence, fresh oil enhances the believer’s level of command of the supernatural Psa. 92:10-15; 67:5-7. This is why in praise, things happen in the believer’s life beyond natural explanation.

The world of the supernatural operates essentially with words Heb. 11:3. Therefore, the believer that will take command of the supernatural must master the use of words of his mouth Pro. 18:21; Mat. 12:36-37. This is because our words commit the integrity of God to perform Num. 14:28.

In conclusion, when a believer come to understand who he is, the demands vital to experience this in reality and commits to them, he will emerge a wonder to his world Jn. 8:32; Hos. 4:6. I dare you to apply yourself to the things shown you in this teaching, and see as your life is turned to a shining light that will keep shining forever.
