We serve a family loving God; this is proved with the first family He created that enjoyed blessings from God, which made them experience life at its best Gen. 1:27-28; Pro. 10:22. Remember, God has not changed; hence, His plan of blessing for the family is still same today Mal. 3:6. Therefore, God’s will is to have the family blessed, and by His blessing the family is to experience pleasurable life.

Requirement for God’s Blessing.

A connection to God is a must to qualify and access God’s blessing Psa. 5:12; 2Cor. 5:21; Rms. 6:21. This connection begins with salvation and sustained by righteousness Psa. 24:3-4. While the first family maintained their connection with God, they enjoyed the blessing. But the day their connection with God was severed, they lost the blessing Gen. 3:8-9,17-19. Therefore, God’s will is to have the entire household or family saved, thereby bringing the entire family into His blessing Acts 10:24-44; 16:30-31. When one is saved therefore blessed among an entire family that is not saved, their challenges because of lack of God’s blessing may never allow the believer to enjoy God’s blessing on his life. Therefore, we should demand for the salvation of every member of our family, more so it is God’s will Jn. 3:16; Heb. 2:3; 1Jn. 5:14-15.

How to Secure the Rescue of our Family Members.

  1. Understand that redemption is what delivers from curses and bring into the blessing of God.

Every child of God has been redeemed from the curses of the law, and brought under the blessings of Abraham Gal. 3:13-14,29. But salvation is an individual matter.

  • We must do the works of Abraham.

God called Abraham alone, but he was after the salvation of his family and the blessing extended to the family Gen. 12:1-5; 13:2-5. We saw Abraham standing in the gap before God for the salvation of Lot; this was what Abraham did to get Lot into the blessing of God on his life Gen. 18:23-33.

  • Understand that our obedience is gateway to the world of all-round blessings.

The scriptures show us that the blessing has the power to being sinners to salvation Acts 3:26. God wants to bless you, and your blessing will make your family to receive salvation. But God’s blessing demands your obedience to God and to His word Psa. 112:1-10; Mat. 6:33. In essence, your obedience to God is vital to secure the rescue of your family.

  • Enter into a covenant to serve God and the interest of His kingdom.

Serving God is another vital requirement to God’s blessing Exo. 23:25-26. Also, serving God brings an end to all the wickedness of the wicked, principal among which is to keep men in sin and darkness 2Cor. 4:4. In essence, a commitment to serve stirs God not only to bless, but to the salvation of the believer’s entire household like in the case of Cornelius Acts 10:1-6,24-48.

  • Open up to receive and believe every blessing proclaimed on our lives and families.

Whatever is not received cannot be experienced Mat. 10:41-42. Remember, God’s blessing must first be pronounced by His servant for God to confirm in the life of the people Num. 6:23-27; Isa. 44:26. Therefore, for our families to some under God’s blessing, we must receive the blessing pronounces Num. 23:8,23.

In conclusion, God’s will for every man and every family is a most pleasurable life on the earth 3Jn2. We only need to embrace His way in order to enjoy what He has designed for us.

Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
