Faith is the kingdom force that brings the believer into the realm where everything works Mat. 17:20; 11:23. In essence, when faith comes alive in the believer, nothing is permitted to fail in his life again Mk. 9:23; Eph. 6:16; 1Jn. 5:4. Can an individual have this kind of faith?
What is faith?
- Faith is a living force drawn from the living word to produce living proofs.
Any time the believer stands on what God’s word says; this is what is called faith. He has tapped into the force of faith, and he had connected to the power of God by faith for supernatural effect on the earth Lk. 8:40-48.
- Faith is putting God’s word to work believing.
When the believer chooses to obey what God’s word says, irrespective of what men, experts and the situation say, this is faith Lk. 5:3-8; Jn. 2:1-11; Jms. 2:14-24,26. When this is done, the power of God is released into the situation for drastic change.
- Faith is sharing responsibility with God in the light of scriptures so as to have one’s desire delivered.
When the believer accept to do what God instructs in his word for anyone that desires to experience a particular desire, this is faith Jn. 9:1-8; 21:5-6. Any faith that leaves all the responsibility for one’s miracle in only God’s hand is an irresponsible faith that will fail.
Any man therefore can have this faith; it is simply a choice to follow what God’s word says to be done to obtain one’s desire. The situation, men and experts may have contrary suggestion of what to do, but faith is the choice to do what God says in His word. But it is not enough to do what God’s word says, for our faith to work, certain conditions must be fulfilled.
What makes Faith to Work?
These are requirements to make faith deliver result.
- Fear of God rooted faith.
The fear of God means hatred for sin Pro. 8:13. Sin is an enemy of faith, it renders faith impotent Rms. 6:1-4,14; 1Ths. 2:10-13. Therefore, the faith that works demand that the believer abstain from sin by living in the fear of God.
- Heart-seated faith.
The heart of man is the control point of his life; only what comes from the heart affect his life Pro. 4:23; 23:7; Mat. 7:21; 15:18. Therefore, faith must be from the heart of the individual for it to work Rms. 10:10; Mk. 11:20; Mat. 9:21-23. In essence, the believer must allow God’s word to get into his heart, and respond to it from the heart to exercise the faith that works. And we do this by dwelling on God’s word long enough in meditation Psa. 39:3.
- Dedicated rooted faith.
Faith that will work must successfully tap into God’s power for it to make impact on the earth. Dedication to God is the believer’s guaranteed access to all of God any time, any day Mat. 6:33; Jn. 12:24-26; Mat. 19:27-29; Php. 1:21; 3:7-19. In essence, when faith is from a believer that is dedicated to God and His kingdom, it will deliver like wild fire.
- Bold-speaking faith.
Spoken word is one major channel to release God’s power in this kingdom Pro. 18:21; Lk. 5:17. In essence, for faith to work it must involve bold speaking and declaration by the believer Acts 4:13-16,29-33; 14:3. It is a non-transferable responsibility, if you cannot boldly say it; your faith cannot deliver it.
- Testimony invoked faith.
Testimonies are the acts of God; and one thing about God is that He has the nature of repeating His acts when any man dare to believe Him for it Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8. Therefore, when faith is rooted in testimony, it is guaranteed to stir God to work to deliver result as desired Psa. 119:111; Isa. 8:16,20; Rev. 12:11.
- A never-give-up faith.
In God’s kingdom, one vital demand to gain access to one’s desire is persistent action Lk. 9:62. This is the same that is known in the kingdom as patience or perseverance, which means doing what the scriptures say when even it seems it is not working. In essence, faith will only work with patience Heb. 6:12; 10:38.
In conclusion, men of old have successfully engaged in this walk of faith Heb. 11:32-34. These were men like us; therefore, we also can make it in our walk of faith! We only need to make the choice, stay committed and the proofs will begin to manifest.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.

Sanctification is possible; others in the past have lived in its reality, anyone can make it happen again Ecc. 1:9. Examples are Joseph (Gen. 39:1-9), Daniel (Dan. 1:6-8). Paul the apostle (1Ths. 2:10), What we need is to find out the path they walked in that made them achieve sanctified life (Jer. 6:16; Heb. 6:12). […]
Sanctification is a commandment of scripture to every believer 1Ths. 4:3,7. God will not demand from us what He has not endowed with grace or empowered us for Jdg. 6:14; 1Jn. 5:3.
