New birth brings an individual into the world of more than conqueror Rms. 8:37. Through Christ the believer is now a child of light, by light his dominion is unquestionable in life Col. 1:13-14; Jn. 1:5. But each believer must accept the responsibility to make his more than conqueror status a reality Php. 2:12. This is by embracing the covenant demands Gen. 17:1-2.
The Covenant Responsibilities for Actualizing our More than Conqueror Status.
Faith is vital to experience the reality of more than a conqueror 1Jn. 5:4; Gal. 3:11; Rms. 1:17; Hab. 2:4. But it is not every faith that can deliver more than a conqueror experience. For instance, little faith cannot:
It will require great or strong faith to operate as more than a conqueror over life’s situations and circumstances Rms. 4:19-20; Heb. 11:33-34. The good news is that faith can be built, and this is through the revelation of God’s word that we can access by prayer Rms. 10:17; Psa. 119:18. In essence, one must be committed to the life of prayer, reading, studying, meditating, and applying to the things found from the word, to grow in faith and walk as more than conqueror in life Eph. 3:1-5,8-11.
Obedience is the covenant springboard into the realm of more than conqueror 2Cor. 10:6; Psa. 112:1-4,6-8. Every man in scriptures that operated as more than conqueror had this in common.
Love for God makes the believer to be ‘God-full’, which in turn makes all things to submit to the believer the same way they do to God 1Jn. 4:16; Eph. 3:17-19. Men in scriptures who operated as more than conqueror were all lovers of God. Examples are;
We grow in our love for God through intimate relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit Rms. 5:5.
When God is the one leading the way, doors and gates lift their heads, and everything clears off our path Psa. 24:7-10; 114:1-8; 23:1-6. One basic thing for walking in divine guidance is to be committed to the prayer f enquiry, and refuse to do anything until you are certain of what God says Jer. 33:3; Ezr. 8:21-23. This was the secret of David that turned him to more than a conqueror 1Sam. 30:6-9,17-18; 2Sam. 5:18-20,25-26.
This will secure God’s presence, and God’s presence is the secret of more than conqueror life Psa. 22:3; 114:1-8; Acts 16:25-30. Thanksgiving and praise is a choice, when one makes the choice, situations and circumstances cannot move one to do otherwise again Deut. 30:19.
In conclusion, God has brought you to your year, but you have the power to determine what becomes of you. As you commit to the covenant responsibility shown, the year will begin to answer to you with amazing testimonies without your struggle. Welcome to your year you have long desired!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, 2022 shall answer to me as More than a Conqueror all through the year Gen. 2:19.
