Divine presence is what makes an individual, a people or place to be different and exceptional on the earth Rms. 8:31. It was God’s presence that was behind the exemption of the Israelite from all evil in their 40 years of wilderness journey Exo. 33:14-16. No matter how severe the evil happening is, God’s presence will make the believer to be exempted. What we therefore need for us to enjoy exemption in the days of increasing danger and evil occurrence is to carry God’s presence all the time.
Keys to Divine Presence for our Exemption.
- Walk in holiness.
Our God is the thrice holy God; to enjoy His presence will demand a walk of holiness Rev. 4:8; Heb. 12:14; Amos 3:3. Any man can walk in holiness when he makes the choice for it, the challenge is that many don’t make the choice but desire holiness Due. 30:19.
- Walk in love.
Love makes a man to become one with God 1Jn. 4:16; Jn. 14:21,23. Therefore, when the believer walks in love, he will be practically walking with God all the way. Remember, love is a choice that individuals make.
- The lifestyle of thanksgiving and praise.
Thanksgiving grants access to God’s presence, while God dwells in the praise of His children Psa. 100:4; 22:3. In essence, when we live by thanksgiving and praise, we are guaranteed God’s presence every moment.
In conclusion, remember that as long as we carry God’s presence, we are secure from whatever evil that happens in the world. The believer is not permitted to be part of the end-time evil, but he has to accept the responsibility for his exemption right.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to walk in holiness, love and live the praise lifestyle, thereby carry divine presence always from now 1Cor. 15:10.
- Father in the name of Jesus, by divine presence in my life I shall be separate from the evil experience around me henceforth Exo. 33:16.

Redemption brought believers out of the miry clay into the life of wonders (Isa. 8:18). God’s Word is the depot of these wonders; how much his eyes are opened to see determines the amount of wonders he will experience (Gen. 13:14-15; Psa. 119:18). A believer is not designed to struggle to experience a life of […]
God’s word is loaded with wonders; how much of it is revealed to a believer determines how much he experiences (Psa. 119:18; Gen. 13:14-15). This means that the life of wonder ordained by redemption will only become a reality to the extent believers catch revelation of the wonders in the word (Isa. 8:18). What are […]
The Bible is not a history book, not a religious text; it is a book of mysteries loaded with wonders (Mk. 4:11; Psa. 119:18). When believers catch the revelation of these wonders in the word, it invokes dramatic transformations as their lives turn to wonders (Gen. 13:14-15; 2Cor. 3:18). The question is, what are these […]
Often, the challenge with some people is not really the devil, powers of darkness, or any enemy, but themselves – their neglect of salient but vital factor of life (SOS 2:15; Jms. 3:3-5). Thanksgiving is one of such factors; when neglected, it tends to lead to self-destruction (Psa. 28:5; Lk. 16:12-21). Why Do We Give […]
