THANKSGIVING: COVENANT HIGHWAY TO SEEING PROPHECIES FULFILLED.

A man’s life is a product of the way he follows Hag. 1:5-7; Isa. 55:7. There is the way that a man will follow and end in destruction, in the same manner there is the way of life Pro. 14:12; 16:25; Psa. 16:11. God has His ways for life, the covenant ways, they are the highways of life, and hence we call it the COVENANT HIGHWAYS Isa. 55:8-9. One of it is thanksgiving.

The Covenant Highway of Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is the covenant highway to secure the fulfilment of prophecies. From scriptures, we understand that thanksgiving is the will of God for the believer in all situations 1Ths. 5:18; Eph. 5:20. When we do the will of God, we enforce the fulfilment of whatever God has promised Heb. 10:36.

How Thanksgiving Works to Fulfil Prophecy.

  1. It the mystery that invokes God’s presence and manifestation.

We do not wait for prophecy to see it come to pass. Thanksgiving is the kingdom mystery, which will always invoke God’s manifest presence, the vital force for the delivery of whatever God has spoken Psa. 100:3; Gen. 21:1.

  • It invokes God’s hand to work.

We cannot make prophecies come to pass by strength or in the energy of the flesh 1Sam. 2:9. Whatever God says can only be delivered by the hand of God at work 1Kgs. 8:15,24. Thanksgiving will always trigger God’s hand to bear on the believer’s situation Psa. 92:1-2,10; Jer. 30:19.

Scriptural Examples of fulfilled prophecies through thanksgiving.

  1. The example of Abraham.

Abraham’s example is the fulfilment of the prophetic word of supernatural fruitfulness by thanksgiving and praise. He was said to be strong in faith, and demonstrated this by giving glory to God in spite of all odds against the promise by God of his child bearing Rms. 4:17-21. The end result was that the prophetic word concerning the birth of Isaac came to pass Lk. 1:45; Gen. 21:1-3.

  • The example of Jehoshaphat.

Jehoshaphat is an example of the fulfilment of the prophecy of supernatural victory by praise. He received a prophetic word of supernatural victory, in an overwhelming battle that confronted him and the entire nation 2Chr. 20:12-16. Through consultation, he understood the way to translate what God says to reality is to worship and praise, and as he did with the whole nation, he took delivery of the prophecy 2Chr. 20:21-24.

  • The example of Hezekiah.

Hezekiah’s example is an example of the fulfilment of the prophetic word of supernatural healing and restoration. He had the prophetic word of victory over the verdict of death on his life Isa. 38:5-6. He enforced the fulfilment of this prophecy through singing his on song Isa. 38:19-20.

  • The example of Paul.

Paul is an example of prophecy fulfilment of supernatural deliverance and divine intervention. Paul was in a life threatening storm on the sea when he received a prophetic word from God that there shall be no loss of life Acts 27:20-24. But he had to engage in thanksgiving to see the prophecy fulfilled Acts 27:25,35,44. Remember, Paul was a thanksgiving and praise addict 1Cor. 1:4; Php. 1:3.

  • The example of Jesus.

Jesus came as our perfect example in all things of life, showing us the way to live the kingdom life. In the face of a dare challenge of taking care of 5,000 men without counting the women and children, deep in the wilderness, Jesus gave the word for the disciples to feed the multitude Jn. 6:5. The prophetic word came to pass as Jesus engaged the mystery of thanksgiving, as they were fed making use of only five loaves of bread and two fishes with leftover in surplus Jn. 6:6-12.

In conclusion, all these examples are to show us that thanksgiving is the covenant highway to see whatever God said come to fulfilment in our lives 1Cor. 10:11; Rms. 15:4. We should all expect the Shiloh 2022 prophetic package to fully deliver with speed in our lives as individuals, as we engage in intense and tireless thanksgiving beginning from this service Isa. 51:1-3; Jn. 8:39. We must understand that ingratitude puts the believer and any man at the risk of being destroyed in life Psa. 28:5.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, empower me afresh by the Holy Spirit for thanksgiving and praise as a lifestyle from today Psa. 45:7.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the success of Shiloh 2022 and every word that has come forth, for the fulfilment that is guaranteed 1Kgs. 8:15.
