SERVING GOD AND THE INTEREST OF HIS KINGDOM PAYS THE UNMATCHABLE 030324 PT. 1.

Life is designed by God and ordained for profit, particularly for the believer Pro. 4:18. We must understand that life void of profit becomes a burden to the individual and everyone around Lk. 19:17-19; 13:6-9; Mk. 9:20-21. In essence, making profit is a must for every believer that desires a glorious life. Profit in life demands labor; in essence, it is labor that guarantees profit Pro. 14:23. There are different kinds of labor that men engage in, and they deliver rewards at different levels. From scriptures, we understand that spiritual labor, which is laboring for God and the advancement of His kingdom, delivers the best of profit 1Tim. 4:7-8; Exo. 23:25-27. This is what we refer to as serving God or kingdom stewardship; it is not mere religion activity or hubby, but a big time business Lk. 2:49; Rms. 12:11-12. Serving God has the capacity of turning ordinary believers into giants Psa. 89:20-24; 2Sam. 18:3.

Platforms for Kingdom Advancement Stewardship.

Some of the ways to engage in kingdom advancement stewardship are presented below.

  1. Praying for the salvation of all the unsaved that come into our services.

This is the commitment to always pray for every church service, and specifically for everyone yet to be genuinely saved that attend the service to receive the gift of salvation Psa. 2:8. It involves praying for the powers that make men a captive to sin to be broken, thereby enabling every unsaved to make the choice for Christ Lk. 11:21-22.

  1. Paying for the transportation of the new converts and challenged members to church services.

The scriptures instruct the believer to compel men into the church Lk. 14:21-22. Again, the scriptures instruct the believer to carry the challenged and weak one’s on their shoulder home (the church) Lk. 15:3-5. In our today’s world, one vital way we do all of these is paying for their transport to and fro the church services.

What to do for our Stewardship to Qualify for Rewards.

It is important for the believer to understand that it is not every service that is acceptable to God Heb. 12:28. Only acceptable service will deliver rewards Lk. 19:17-19.

  1. We must serve God righteously.

Service to God that is not done in holiness is not acceptable to God, and will lack rewards Heb. 12:28. It is the walk of righteousness that makes our service acceptable to God, and to deliver the rewards Mat. 7:22-23; 2Tim. 2:19-21.

  1. We must serve God faithfully.

Faithfulness means doing what is assigned, and deliver expected result, yet without supervision Mat. 24:45-47. Only the faithful in kingdom stewardship is guaranteed rewards Pro. 28:20; 20:6; 1Cor. 4:2.

  1. We must serve from the heart.

One is either serving with the face or from the heart Eph. 6:6. Only the service that is from the heart is acceptable to God and attracts God’s reward Jer. 17:10; 2Chr. 25:2.

The Returns for Kingdom Advancement Stewardship.

  1. It secures our present life in color.

From scriptures, we understand that serving God makes the days of the believers to be prosperous, and the year to be filled with only pleasure Job 36:11. Hence, the life of the believer engaged in kingdom stewardship is always colorful and enviable Mat. 6:6; 1Cor. 3:6-8.

  1. It secures favor from God.

Serving God is the covenant key that brings the believer into the world of divine favor Psa. 102:13-15. Remember, favor enables the believer for sweat-less possession of what others struggles to get Pro. 18:22; Psa. 30:7.

  1. It engenders supernatural fruitfulness.

The scriptures show us that fruitfulness of every kind is a reward of God Psa. 127:3. And serving God is what qualifies the believer for the reward of fruitfulness Exo. 23:25-26. In essence, serving God makes the believer to bring forth his fruits in due season, and this is in all areas of life.

  1. It confers joy and rejoicing.

The pursuit of God and the advancement of the kingdom make the engaging believer’s life to be filled with joy Lk. 10:17. Joy gives the believer access to all other benefits of redemption, including revelation, health, vitality etc Pro. 17:22; Isa. 12:3.

In conclusion, serving God and the interest of His kingdom is the covenant force to break the yoke of hardship and escape the holocaust of hard life. It is the ark of safety in this hard time for every believer that will embrace it.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified.   1. Father in the name of Jesus, empower my choice by your Spirit for tireless commitment to kingdom advancement endeavor 3:16.
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, engrace me to be supernaturally fruitful in my kingdom advancement engagement this month 15:10.
