Marriage is a good thing that makes for a good life, whatever challenges the marital destiny of a man is out to rob him of a good life Gen. 2:18; Heb. 13:4. These challenges are marital delay and marital crisis; they are mostly the raw oppressions of the devil of which the victims may not even be aware Eph. 6:12; Mat. 13:28. Every good thing is our entitlement in Christ, including a fulfilled married life Psa. 34:10; 84:7; Pro. 3:27-28; Mat. 7:11. Therefore, every Child of God that so desires, has the God-given heritage to be settled in marriage Gen. 2:17-18; Pro. 18:22; Isa. 34:16.
Covenant Steps to Calm the Storms in Every Challenged Marital Life.
- Genuine New Birth Experience.
Jesus is the Prince of peace, without Him at the center of one’s life and marriage, crises is sure to reign 2Cor. 5:17; Jn. 14:27. But when Jesus is takes over a life and given the control of one’s marriage, His peace will settle in that home Mat. 14:22-33. However, a partner does not have to wait for another, when one turns his or her life to Christ, in truth and indeed the impact on the other is sure, it may only be a matter of time 1Cor. 7:13-14.
- Establish your marriage on foundation in Christ.
Where a marriage has no sure foundation in Christ, the marriage is bound to experience crisis Psa. 11:3; Heb. 13:4. The way out is to ask for forgiveness through genuine repentance, for the marriage to experience times of refreshing Act. 3:19; Act. 17:30. When Christ becomes the priority in one’s life, every good thing of life including marriage shall be added Mat. 6:33.
- Operate your marriage with the light from God’s word.
Everyone going through marital challenges should seek for light from the Word and through anointed books on Marriage by proven authors Dan. 9:2; 2Tim. 2:15. It is not enough to access light, we must be committed to walking in the light Ecc. 11:7; Eph. 5:8.
- Walk in the covenant of marriage.
Marriage is a covenant relationship Mal. 2:14-15. Rebellion against the covenant of fulfilled married life will keep any marriage under pressure for life Psa. 68:6.Therefore, obedience to the terms of the covenant of marriage is key to marital breakthrough, which are; husband to love the wife and wife to submit to her husband Eph. 5:23-25. In addition, couples have become one flesh; living apart from each other is a risk, because it is a breeding ground for temptation to sexual immorality that destroys 1Cor. 7:8-10; 3:16-18. Thirdly, where sexual immorality gains in-road to a marriage, such may be heading for the rocks Mat. 19:9; Rev. 2:21-22. But sanctification is the will of God for all of us, both as individuals and in marriage 1Ths. 4:3-5; 1Jn. 5:14-15.
- Connect for prophetic intervention.
Prophets are God’s agent of rescue from captivities in life Hos. 12:13. When we receive prophets and obey the instruction they give, the captivity holding our destiny is destroyed and our liberty is established. Therefore, by the prophetic grace on the Liberation commission, God shall calm every storm in every marriage here today.
In conclusion, everyone set for marriage, today is declared your day of deliverance and God will settle you supernaturally in this prophetic service.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Redemption brought believers out of the miry clay into the life of wonders (Isa. 8:18). God’s Word is the depot of these wonders; how much his eyes are opened to see determines the amount of wonders he will experience (Gen. 13:14-15; Psa. 119:18). A believer is not designed to struggle to experience a life of […]
God’s word is loaded with wonders; how much of it is revealed to a believer determines how much he experiences (Psa. 119:18; Gen. 13:14-15). This means that the life of wonder ordained by redemption will only become a reality to the extent believers catch revelation of the wonders in the word (Isa. 8:18). What are […]
The Bible is not a history book, not a religious text; it is a book of mysteries loaded with wonders (Mk. 4:11; Psa. 119:18). When believers catch the revelation of these wonders in the word, it invokes dramatic transformations as their lives turn to wonders (Gen. 13:14-15; 2Cor. 3:18). The question is, what are these […]
Often, the challenge with some people is not really the devil, powers of darkness, or any enemy, but themselves – their neglect of salient but vital factor of life (SOS 2:15; Jms. 3:3-5). Thanksgiving is one of such factors; when neglected, it tends to lead to self-destruction (Psa. 28:5; Lk. 16:12-21). Why Do We Give […]
