We live in an unsettled world, a world that is growing in crisis and troubles by the day Jn. 15:32-33. The good news is that we serve the God of settlement, who has the guarantee of a settled life for His children, even in the midst of the unsettled world Jn. 17:12-16. We must understand that, being born again does not exempt the believer from the intimidating challenges of life, but he is not permitted to go through the challenges beyond a while 1Pet. 5:10; 2Cor. 4:17. Every unwanted situation that has become the identity of a believer is unscriptural, and has no legal right to remain Deu. 28:59; Gal 3:13-14. It is individuals that have the power to terminate the unwanted situation and establish desired settlement Mat. 17:20; Mk 11:23.
Covenant Forces for Settlement in Life.
- Return fully to God.
What the world offers is crisis, troubles, and unrest; it is only in God that one can find rest and peace Mat. 11:28-29; Jn. 16:33. Therefore, everyone that desires settlement need to first return to God by being born again or rededication to Christ Acts 2:37-38. When the prodigal son returned to the Father, his life was settled immediately Lk. 15:11-24.
- Be committed to live by God’s word.
In the beginning when there was chaos on the earth, God settled the situation with His word Gen. 1:1-3,31; Heb. 11:3. For settlement, the believer must locate the appropriate word from scriptures, apply himself to it, and settlement is guarantees Heb. 1:3; 2Pet. 1:2; Psa. 119:89. Personal testimony in ministry: I hardly pray for people, I only give them scriptures to meditation and apply. I have had 95% testimony for those I counsel.
- Be committed to build your faith.
Behind the unrest is the devil at work 1Pet. 5:8. Faith is the force to silence every devil and enforce one’s settlement 1Pet. 5:8-9; Eph. 6:16. Faith is a personal asset to build and engage, and we build it with God’s word Rms. 10:17.
- Refuse to accept the situation as you lot in life.
One reason why the unwanted situation has remained in many people’s life is because they have accepted it as their ‘cross’ in life, a misconception of scriptures Mat. 16:24. What you don’t refuse is permitted to remain Eph. 4:27. Whatever you don’t react against, is what you have allowed. When you stand against that unwanted issue, you have given it a deadline in your life Mat. 17:20; Mk. 11:23.
- Enter into a covenant to keep serving God.
Serving God is a covenant force that invokes God on the behalf of the believer against unwanted issues in his life Exo. 4:22-23; 2Chr. 15:12-15. When this happens, God establishes rest for the believer from all crises. As long as the believer remain actively serving God, he sustains his settlement. Serving God is all about being engaged in advancing God’s kingdom; we do this through kingdom advancement prayer, soul winning, soul gathering into church, soul establishment in the faith and the church Mat. 6:33.
In conclusion, the devil does not have the power to make your life unsettled, except you gave it to him. Therefore, stop watching that unsettled area of your life! Stop explaining the unsettlement in your life!! Rise up to enforce your settlement now!!!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I accept responsibility for me settlement in life, and I receive the grace to apply myself to the demands Deu. 30:19.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I decree the end to every unwanted issue and unrest in my life now Mat. 17:20.

Prayer and fasting are commandments of God to every believer, as found in scriptures Isa. 58:6; Mat. 6:6-7,17-18. While these are commandments, they are not burdens but blessings of unfathomable dimension Jer, 23:33-40. Though Prayer and fasting come at a cost, this cost pales in comparison to the glory in return Psa. 63:1-3; 2Cor. 4:17. […]
We serve the God who instructs; He does not merely give advice or admonition but commands Isa. 55:10. Every word of God is a command; the bible is a compendium of God’s commandments Jos. 1:8; Psa. 19:7-8. The good news is that every commandment of God is for the profit of man when obeyed Due. […]
Whatever God says is what He is committed to make happen 1Kgs. 8:15. This is because prophecies are ordained to be fulfilled Isa. 55:10-11; 34:16. We have said that there are three (3) main sources of prophecy: i) The scriptures 1:19-21; Isa. 34:16. ii) Directly from the Holy Spirit 16:12-14. iii) From prophets sent our […]
