One pertinent question that every person must give answer to in life is ‘Who are you?’ Scriptures show us that everyone with success story in life answered it correctly. Examples; John the Baptist Jn. 1:19-23; Jesus, the Christ Jn. 8:25; 18:31-34,37; 6:14-15. Until the believer knows who he is in Christ, he will keep struggling with failure and frustration in life. The bible is the creator’s manual that shows who the believer is, his true worth, and what he can do Jn. 5:39; 10:34.

Unveiling God’s Plan for the Believer from God’s Word.

In essence, who do the scriptures present the believer to be?

  1. The believer is redeemed to be more than a conqueror.

This means the believer will be faced with battled, but he won’t ever be defeated Rms. 8:35-37; 2Cor. 2:14. Also, the believer won’t ever need to fight to overcome in any battle of life 2Chr. 20:17; Lk. 21:15.

  • The believer is redeemed to enjoy health and wholeness.

Health means absence of sickness, while wholeness means undamaged and unbroken. By redemption, the believer is to live absolutely a sickness-free life, with no damage to his body either internal or external, all his days Mat. 8:17; 3Jn. 2.

  • The believer is redeemed to enjoy the reality of hitch-free marriage.

Marriage is one of the mysteries of life, where two individuals become united into one thereby emerging as an unbeatable force Mat. 18:19. We understand from scriptures that it is only by redemption that this union can be truly formed, which will result in hitch-free marriage and a glorious life Eph. 5:22-30; Mat. 19:4-6; Gen. 2:24-25.

  • The believer is redeemed to be fruitful and not barren.

Redemption introduces eternal life (God’s kind of life) into the believer’s life, and this empowers him to produce fruit in all areas of life and at old age Psa. 128:1-5; 92:12-15; Isa. 5:1-13.

How Do I Realize these Glorious Plans in my Life?

There are always the demands to every provision in God’s kingdom.

  1. Love for God is key to the making of more than conquerors.

Love for God makes the believer to be full of God, which turns him into an unbeatable and incontestable personality Eph. 3:17-19; Rms. 8:37-39; Psa. 114:1-8.

  1. Serving the interest of God’s kingdom guarantees health and wholeness.

The choice to become committed to serve God and the interest of His kingdom immunes  the believer against sickness and all that destroys the body Exo. 23:25-26; 2Chr. 15:12,15; Jn. 15:1-2,15-16.

  1. Husband’s love for the wife is the access to hitch-free marriage.

Love means the choice to place the other person’s interest as priority over yours. When this is in place between husband and wife, they gain access to the glorious life Eph. 5:21-30.

  1. Serving God guarantees fruitfulness.

Fruitfulness is God’s reward to the believer for the service done in His name Psa. 127:3; 2Kgs. 4:8-17; Gen. 18:1-10.

In conclusion, what the life of every man need is that moment of coming to the knowledge of the truth. As he engages the truth he has come to know in his life, he steps into a new season of glory Jn. 8:32; 2Cor. 3:18; 13:8.

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by the Holy Spirit to fulfil demands to realize God’s plan thereby making me to become who I have made in Christ Acts 1:8.
