Someone said; “Those who walk, walk with a crowd. Those who run, run with few. While those who fly, fly alone”. And it is further said; “those who walk, walk by common sense. While those who run, run by principles. And those who fly, fly by instruction”. In essence, every high flyer in life are men that are giving to live by instruction Deu. 28:1. The bible is a book of instruction, and the instruction guarantee the believer’s outstanding success in life 2Tim 3:16-17; Jos. 1:8. One vital instruction of scriptures for supernatural lifting of the believer is dedication to kingdom advancement or serving God Mat. 6:33; Lk. 22:25-27. In essence, serving God has something about it that results to the supernatural lifting of the believer in life.
What are the Virtues in Kingdom Stewardship that will make for Success?
- Serving God is a platform for accessing supernatural wisdom.
Our God is the only wise God 1Tim. 1:7. Serving God gives the believer access to enjoy God’s companionship Mat. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:20; Lk. 10:1; 1Cor. 3:9. When the believer walks with the only wise God, His wisdom robs off on the believer Pro. 13:20. Daniel, an accredited servant of God, manifested the unusual wisdom of God Dan. 6:20; 5:11-12,2:23; 1:17,20. Paul, a die-hard servant of God, operated in the strange wisdom of God Rms. 1:1; 2Pet. 3:15.
- Serving God is a platform for glory and honor.
Serving God brings the believer into the honor of God Mat. 10:25; Jn. 12:23-26; Jer. 30:19-21. Serving God which is essentially winning of souls, makes wise, and the wise is ordained for glory Pro. 11:30; 3:35. Also, serving God is about the pursuit of kingdom enlargement, which simply is influx of multitude into the church. God is honoured in the multitude of people, and in return God honours everyone involved in bringing honour to Him Pro. 14:28; 1Sam 2:30. David was an approved servant of God, and from a shepherd boy without any CV, became the most revered king of Israel in history Psa. 89:20-24; 1Sam. 13:14.
Scriptural Examples of Success stories that were made on the platform of Serving God.
- Job.
He was a business man, but acknowledge as serving God both by God and the devil Job 1:8-9. And he rose to become the strongest business man of his days Job 1:3.
- Elijah.
He was a prophet, but committed to the pursuit of God and the advancement of His kingdom, even at the cost of his life 1Kgs. 18:21-39; 19:10-19. He served to the point he became a prophet of renown in the class of Moses, who never experienced death 2Kgs. 2:9-15.
In conclusion, life is a product of individual’s choice Deu. 30:19. One right choice can make all the difference between breakdown and breakthrough in life. The choice to become committed to serving God is the wisdom that will initiate the unstoppable rise of the believer.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified.
