When the power of His resurrection manifested, there were instant and dramatic turnaround events, not only for Jesus but other saints Mat. 27:50-53; 28:1-5. Resurrection is the most contested event in history, and the reason is because it is the hiding place of God’s exceeding great power Eph. 1:18-20; Col. 2:12-15.
What is in the Power of His Resurrection for the Believer?
- Sanctification.
The power of His resurrection sanctifies, enabling the believer to live above sin thereby walk practically in holiness Rms. 6:3-5,14; 1Cor. 15:42-44. In essence, through this power the believer again can live a sin-free life.
- Destruction of the power of death and the grave.
The power of His resurrection destroys the power of death and the grave that has held man in bondage, and swallowed up death in victory 1Cor. 15:54-47; Heb. 2:14-15. In essence, what kill others does not have power over the believer again; the believer can now live forever.
- Quickens the mortal body and restores health and vitality to our system.
The power of His resurrection gives life to the body making it immune to sickness, disease, afflictions and the likes Rms. 8:11; 1Cor. 15:40-41. By this, the believer is to enjoy health, vitality and wholeness like God.
- Takes captivity captive and sets the believer free.
Whatever hold men in bondage is what the power of His resurrection turns into a captive, thereby making the believer to become free in life Eph. 4:8; Col. 2:15; Heb. 2:14-15. In essence, the believer is not permitted to be a captive to anything again Jn. 8:36.
- Subdues every enemy under the believer’s feet.
Through the power of His resurrection, every other power bows and submits to the believer Psa. 66:3; Eph. 1:17-18. In essence, the believer is empowered to walk in dominion in life.
- Turns mighty men out of the valley of very dry bones.
The experience at the Ezekiel’s prophetic valley of dry bones is what the experience of the believer becomes when the power of His resurrection manifests Ezk. 37:1-5,11-14. Dead, dry and humanly forgotten bones were raised into mighty and valiant army by the power of His resurrection Mat. 27:50-53; 1Cor. 15:43-44.
How to Gain Access to the Power of His Resurrection.
This power is available to all, but can only be accessed by those who will meet the requirements. The good news is that when any man gain access to this power, his life experiences instant and dramatic turnaround 1Cor. 15:51-52; Mat. 28:50-53. What are the requirements?
- Be born again and remain so.
To experience the power of His resurrection, one must sincerely renounce the life of sin and receive Christ into one’s life to help stay off sin Jn. 1:12.
- Understanding of the power of His resurrection.
Our level of understanding of what the power of His resurrection stands for is what will determine the level to which we will experience it in our lives Eph. 3:10; Rev. 1:18.
- Commitment to witnessing for Christ.
The power of His resurrection is for those who are committed to those on the go for Christ Mat. 28:18-20; Lk. 10:1,17-19.
In conclusion, we serve the God of again and again; He has not changed, willing and able to do what He has done before Mal. 3:6. Therefore, expect your long desired change right now through operation of the power of His resurrection.
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I believe in the power that raise Christ from the dead, cause it to answer in my life right now for the release of my desired miracle Rms. 8:11.

God’s presence is what makes all the difference in person’s life. It empowers individuals to make the most of their time on earth and hereafter Psa. 127:1-2; Jn. 15:5; 1Cor. 3:6. From scripture, we understand that holiness guarantees to God’s presence and divine intervention Amos 3:3; Heb. 12:14; Rev. 4:8. How Beautiful or Glorious is […]
Salvation is God’s call into the life of glory and beauty Rms. 8:28-30; 2Pet. 1:3. Scripture states categorically that at the root of glory and beauty is holiness Exo. 15:11; Psa. 96:9. Holiness is not a gift but a spiritual virtue, demanding our exercise 1Tim. 4:8. Therefore, we need a good understanding of how to […]
A core wonder of the altar of prayer and fasting is express answer to prayers Isa. 58:6,9. When the prayer and fasting altar is engaged in the scriptural way, it transforms the believer into a wonder being Exo. 34:28-35; Dan. 2:12-19,46; 6:10,21-22; Lk. 9:28-35. Therefore, prayer and fasting are not burdens but blessings to the […]
Prayer and fasting are commandments of God to every believer, as found in scriptures Isa. 58:6; Mat. 6:6-7,17-18. While these are commandments, they are not burdens but blessings of unfathomable dimension Jer, 23:33-40. Though Prayer and fasting come at a cost, this cost pales in comparison to the glory in return Psa. 63:1-3; 2Cor. 4:17. […]
