When it is well with an individual spiritually, it will be well with him all-roundly Pro. 18:14. Therefore, laboring to see that it is well with you spiritually is key to experience the best of God in this highly prophetic year. Remember, prophecies are the declaration of God’s intention for a people or an individual Ezk. 12:25; Isa. 46:9-10.

How Powerful are Prophecies?

They are God’s sworn verdicts Gen. 22:16-18. This means, God has sworn to do a thing, and nothing can reverse it Isa. 14:24,27. When it is God who said it, we must understand that it is what He can do, because God speaks within His capacity and ability to deliver Lk. 1:30-31,34-35; Jer. 32:17,27. We must understand that prophecy will not automatically happen; it takes the faith of the believer to see prophecies fulfilled Lk. 1:45; Isa. 53:1; 1Kgs. 8:15. In essence, only the believer whose faith is alive in the prophecy will experience the reality of what God has said.

How Does Faith Facilitate Fulfilment of Prophecies?

  1. Faith spiritually strengthens believers not to waiver in order to see prophecies fulfilled.

To see whatever God has said come to pass in our lives, we must hold unto God’s word firm without shifting our ground, then what God says will come to pass Mat. 24:13; Rms. 4:20-21; Gal. 6:9. Faith is what strengthens the believer to stand strong on God’s word till it delivers Heb. 11:11; Gen. 21:1-7.

  • Faith enables the believer to receive the prophetic word in his mind.

The mind is like the ’dark room’ in photography, where what we see in reality is printed out Pro. 4:23 (AMP). In essence, for the believer to see prophecy become fulfilled, his mind must capture it. What faith does is that, it enables the mind of the believer to receive the prophetic word that will result in its fulfilment Rms. 12:2; Jn. 1:12; 2Kgs. 7:1-2.

  • Faith empowers the believer to believe the prophetic word in his heart.

Faith brings the believer into the realm of conviction on what God says, which is essential to move God to perform His word Heb. 4:2; Rms. 10:10; Mk. 11:23. When faith comes alive, the believer’s heart becomes established on whatever God has said, and performance by God is inevitable.

  • Faith empowers the believer for obedience to see prophecy fulfilled.

There is always what the believer must do before what God promised can be fulfilled Deut. 28:1. It is faith that makes the believer courageous enough to do what the scriptures require for a prophetic word to come to pass Php. 2:12; Jms. 2:18-24.

  • Faith empowers for the fight of faith required for prophecy fulfilment.

Every prophecy that will be fulfilled demands a fight by the believer who will experience its fulfilment 1Tim. 1:18; 6:12. It is faith that empowers the believer to engage in this fight, and triumph in it 1Jn. 5:4.

In conclusion, everything about the believer’s life depends on his faith Hab. 2:4. Faith is built personally, by exercising in God’s word through hearing, feeding, meditation and practice Rms. 10:17. This is your own year, but to experience the reality of it you must accept the responsibility to build your faith!

To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the help of the Holy Spirit to build my faith, resulting in the full and speedy delivery of the prophetic word for the year in my life Zch. 4:6.
