Scriptures make us to understand that every man’s life is simply a reflection of his wisdom Eccl. 8:1.When wisdom is at work in a believer, everything will be working for him Pro. 4:7-9; Jos. 28:7-23. Therefore, it is wisdom every man need for things to work, even God had to secure it for Him to succeed at His work Pro. 8:22.
Biblical Wisdom for Business Breakthrough.
What is Business?
Business means goods or services engaged in for the purpose of meeting the needs of men, which results into making profit.
From scriptures, we understand that the believer is ordained to prosper in anything (legitimate) he does Psa. 1:3. Why are too many believers struggling and barely surviving? What is the wisdom for business breakthrough?
- Be committed to spiritual growth and development Psa. 1:1-3; 112:1-4; Rms. 8:5-6.
Scriptures make us to understand that the physical is absolutely under the control of the spirit realm Heb. 11:3. In essence, the more one is established in the realm of the spirit, the more the physical will respond to the individual. We grow and develop spiritually by feeding on God’s word 1Pet. 2:2; Col. 3:16-17. Therefore, every believer that desires to keep experiencing business breakthrough must be a man of the word.
- Make the choice for diligence at work Pro. 22:9; Psa. 1:3.
Diligence means hard work in right direction. It can also be defined as how much is invested into time. Remember, it is the blessing of God that makes breakthrough in life, but God’s blessing answer only on the work of an individual Pro. 10:22; Psa. 1:3. In essence, when the believer is not working he is not entitled for God’s blessing. The harder we work the more we enjoy God’s blessing, and the more we prosper in business.
- Be committed to the advancement of God’s kingdom Matt. 6:33; 2Chr. 26:3-5,14-15.
When we commit to advancing God’s kingdom, we make God to become committed to advancing the work of our hands. Remember, without God we cannot do or accomplish anything, because our effort alone does not guarantee accomplishment in life Jn. 15:5; 1Sam. 2:9. In essence, if one does not want to struggle in business, one must secure God’s help over one’s work, and this is by a commitment to promoting His kingdom as a lifestyle. We promote God’s kingdom essentially in 3 ways; engaging in kingdom advancement prayers, soul winning and using our finance and material.
- Be committed to the covenant of tithing as a lifestyle Lev. 27:30-32; Mal. 3:10-12; Heb. 7:1-8.
Walking in the covenant of tithing is what keeps the heavens open over a life. Personal tithe opens the heavens over an individual’s life, while corporate tithing opens the heavens over the business. Until the heaven is opened, the earth will be hard and unproductive. Many are experiencing hard times in business and the works of their hands because they are yet to have the heaven open them, tithing is what does this.
- Be committed to integrity in business Pro. 11:3; 14:34.
Integrity simply means the quality of being truthful and having high moral standards. It also means to be whole; same within and without, in the secret and open. The most influential man in last century (Billy Graham) was asked the 3 most important factors for success in life, his answer was no. 1 Integrity, no. 2 Integrity, and no. 3 Integrity. The reason why many are found sweating in life, yet they keep breaking down is because they need to understand that God looks at what one does in the secret to reward in the open 1Sam. 15:6-7; Matt. 6:6,18. If you want breakthrough in the open, be a man of integrity, which means operate in truth and high morality both in the secret and open. Don’t be a different person when you are in the church, and another in the business place.
- Be committed to thanksgiving as a lifestyle Jn. 6:6-11.
Joy, rejoicing and thanksgiving are the covenant forces that make everything in life to multiply Joel 1:11-12; Deut. 28:47-48. While murmuring, grumbling and complaints make things to be destroyed Num. 11:1; 1Cor. 10:10.Joy is a choice, and it is the choice of the wise.
- Be connected to priestly blessing Num. 6:23-27.
God’s ordained His priests as His channel of releasing His blessing on His people life. Also, God has committed Himself to confirm the blessings His servant the priest pronounces Isa. 44:26. Until the priest pronounces it, God has nothing to confirm in His people’s life. Each believer must invoke the priest to pronounce the blessing of God on his life. We do this by receiving the priest, obeying him and giving to the priest Matt. 10:41-42.
In conclusion, in the words of God’s servant, “there is no mountain anywhere, every man’s mountain is his ignorance”. If you have been struggling in the work of your hand, it is because you lack the understanding of the things necessary. Now that you know, as you give yourself to do them, your days of struggle is over forever from now! Your work shall prosper from today!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the light you have shed through this teaching, I receive the grace to walk in this light thereby establishing my breakthrough speedily Jn. 11:10.
