We have basically two (2) classes of men in life; those who live by labor, and those by favor. Those who live by labor have this characteristic; they sweat before they can get anything, and their effort always outweighs their outcome Gen. 3:17-19. While those who live by favor work hard, but they always have outcome that makes their effort appear insignificant Psa. 44:3. Individuals determine which group he belongs, by conscious effort of engaging the forces that makes for favor. In essence, we don’t wait for favor; rather we invoke it by engaging certain covenant forces Pro. 13:15; Psa. 45:12.
Covenant Forces to Invoke Divine Favor.
- Be born again and remain so.
Sin disconnected Adam from divine favor and plunged him into a life of toiling and sweat; the rule has not changed Mal. 3:6. When we renounce sin in life and receive Christ indeed, we are brought into favor with God and begin to enjoy divine favor in life Psa. 5:12.
- A heart that pants after God and the interest of His kingdom.
The choice to pursue after God and the advancement of His kingdom is a vital key to unlock favor in life Psa. 102:13-15; 35:27; Mat. 6:33. Every believer that truly desire the life of favor must make the things of God to matter to him, and must be all out with his best in the pursuit of God’s interest.
- Stay in love with God
God’s lovers walk in continuous flow of divine favor 1Sam. 13;14; 1Chr. 28:4. The vital proof of love for God is passion for souls Jn. 3:16; 21:15-17. One does not need to go far to find the unsaved, they abound all around us; we must go after them for their salvation, in order to keep swimming in divine favor. For instance, target your business partners, customers, clients. Target your unsaved staff, employee, or employer. Target those who are financially indebted to you, forgive them of the debt and use that as your sickle to get them for Christ. Target those who are challenged in their business, work, marriage, family, health, using their challenge as your bait to get them for Christ. To have good result:
- Engage effectual fervent prayer altar for their salvation Psa. 2:8.
- Embark on a “by all means” approach for their salvation 1Cor. 9:20-22.
- Continue to offer them compelling invitation to church service to the point of their establishment Lk. 14:21-23.
The scriptures make us to understand that every truly committed soul winner lives in a world of strange divine favor 1Cor. 9:16; 2:9.
- Walk in obedience to God’s instruction.
Obedience to God and every of His instruction is key to the world of divine favor Deu. 28:1-12; Jn. 14:21.
- Be committed to sacrificial giving.
Giving is vital to access the world of favor, and sacrificial giving will unlock the realm of strange favor to the believer 1Kgs. 3:3-13; 8:63; 10:4-7,21,27.
In conclusion, there is nothing that can be compared to favor in life. One day of favor with God is worth much more than one hundred years of labor. But it is all about each one’s choice in life!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for
Prayer.

Redemption brought believers out of the miry clay into the life of wonders (Isa. 8:18). God’s Word is the depot of these wonders; how much his eyes are opened to see determines the amount of wonders he will experience (Gen. 13:14-15; Psa. 119:18). A believer is not designed to struggle to experience a life of […]
God’s word is loaded with wonders; how much of it is revealed to a believer determines how much he experiences (Psa. 119:18; Gen. 13:14-15). This means that the life of wonder ordained by redemption will only become a reality to the extent believers catch revelation of the wonders in the word (Isa. 8:18). What are […]
The Bible is not a history book, not a religious text; it is a book of mysteries loaded with wonders (Mk. 4:11; Psa. 119:18). When believers catch the revelation of these wonders in the word, it invokes dramatic transformations as their lives turn to wonders (Gen. 13:14-15; 2Cor. 3:18). The question is, what are these […]
Often, the challenge with some people is not really the devil, powers of darkness, or any enemy, but themselves – their neglect of salient but vital factor of life (SOS 2:15; Jms. 3:3-5). Thanksgiving is one of such factors; when neglected, it tends to lead to self-destruction (Psa. 28:5; Lk. 16:12-21). Why Do We Give […]
