God’s word clearly has the instruction of ingathering of souls into God’s house to all believers Lk. 14:21-23. The mission is to have God’s house filled at all times, it is because God is honored in the multitude of people Pro. 14:28. Scriptures even said the believer is to compel the people to come, showing how serious the instruction is. There must be very important benefits attached to this, and probable grave consequence when not obeyed. Remember, every instruction of scriptures is for the profit of those who will obey it 2Tim. 3:16-17. Therefore, what is it about the instruction of ingathering of souls into the church?

Profits of Ingathering of souls to the church.

1. Spiritual growth and development of our new converts.

Just like the natural birth, a new convert is a baby in the spiritual world he has just been brought into, which demands growth if he will maximize the great life this offers Gal. 4:1-3; 1Pet. 2:2. Getting established in the church is therefore vital.

1. The church is the spiritual center where the believer will grow from strength to strength Psa. 84:7; Heb. 12:22-24. A convert that stays off the church cannot experience growth therefore.
2. The church is where God has appointed shepherds that will feed the flock Jer. 3:15-16; Acts 20:28. And just as good diet is an essential for growth in the natural, much more it is in the spiritual.
3. The church is Gods’ ordained center for spiritual illumination Psa. 73:17; 2Cor. 3:18. Illumination is the covenant force for the transformation and change of the believer

Every convert need the church to make the most of the new life they have received in Christ. Therefore, we must do everything to see that they are come into the church and abide.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit for the ingathering of all my converts and contacts into the church until they are established Zch. 4:6.

Get every of your convert into church this Sunday, do everything to accomplish this?
