The scriptures teach us that the way to make the most of life is living by the instruction of scripture 2Tim. 3:16-17; Jos. 1:8. A major instruction of scriptures to all believer is what is popularly known as the ‘great commission’, which is simply about getting souls saved Mat. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16. This instruction goes beyond simply getting the unsaved to make a commitment of their lives to Christ, to seeing become established in the lifestyle of Christ. Until they come to this level, the believer is not considered to have obeyed the instruction Jn.15:16. In getting our converts to become Christ-like in lifestyle, getting them into, and making them abide in church becomes vital Heb. 10:25.

Profits of Ingathering of souls to the church.

1. Preservation of our new converts.

Adam was placed in the Garden of Eden, when he left this divinely appointed place he lost the life God designed for him on the earth Gen. 2:7-8; 3:24. The appointed place where the supernatural life in the new convert can be maintained is the church Heb. 10:25. How?

1. The church is the appointed spiritual home for every believer; where the life of Christ is nurtured, nourished and cared for Eph. 2:19; Lk. 15:3-7.
2. The church is ordained for a covering for the new converts, where his new life in Christ is protected from all assaults of the wicked 2Sam. 7:10; Psa. 91:1-3.
3. The church is the God ordained place where the new convert and the believer must be planted in order to secure the glorious destiny designed for his life; as well as trained on how to actualize it Rms. 8:29-30; Psa. 92:12-15.

The truth is that a commitment to the church is vital for the survival, success and spiritual walk of the new convert and believers in general.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit for the ingathering of all my converts and contacts into the church until they are established Zch. 4:6.

Action.

Go after all your converts that are yet to appear in church, and do everything to get them into church this Sunday?
