God’s word says the scriptures contain instruction designed by God to make life profitable for the believer when complied with 2Tim. 3:16-17. In essence, if a life of profits is one’s desire, follow the instruction of scriptures. It will not only make for profit, but also perfection in life. One vital instruction to the believer is that of gathering converts into the church Lk 16:21-23. The understanding of the profits in whatever one does is essential to motivate the believer’s commitment to obedience Heb. 12:2. Therefore, what are the profits of ingathering of souls to the church?

Profits of Ingathering of souls to the church.

1. For the establishment of our new converts in the faith.

New birth introduces the believer into Christ, but the mark of God is to come to the fullness of Christ Eph. 4:13-14. Ingathering to the church is the way out. How?

1. It secures the satisfaction of the converts with the goodness of God available ‘only’ in His house, which encourages them to be established there and in God Psa. 65:4; 132:12-15.
2. The church is the New Testament ‘city of refuge’ for the redeemed, where the devourer is silenced thereby making them to abide there 2Sam. 7:10; Jos. 20:2.
3. It secures the reward of the believer; just like the farmer is paid only when the produce gets to the store house. The reward motivates the believer to pursue after the establishment of the convert in the faith Jn. 4:35-36.

Therefore, we must be committed to the ingathering of souls into the church because it is a scriptural commandment, with great profits when fulfilled.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit for the ingathering of all my converts and contacts into the church until they are established Zch. 4:6.

Action.

Make the decision to remain strong in pursuit of kingdom advancement for live.
