Memory verse:   

“And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

We are in a season of revival because it is the midst of the year, and the bible says the midst of the year is the season of revival 1Chr. 12:32. A revival is the move of God’s Spirit among men which results in massive salvation of souls into the kingdom Acts 2:1-6,41. Therefore, when we see multitudes getting saved, it’s a clear indication of a true revival. When a farmer leaves the harvest on the field, he stands the risk of losing the harvest to the birds of the air Mat. 13:4; 12:30. In the same way, it is not enough that we harvest souls into the kingdom; we must ensure we gather them into the church. 

What is the Significance of Ingathering of souls into the church?

1. For the sanctification of the new converts and members.

The scriptures make us to understand that the great inheritance in Christ can only be delivered on the platform of sanctification Acts 20:32; Eph. 5:25-26. In essence, every convert that will take delivery of these great inheritances must attain unto sanctification. Sanctification means being set part from sin and all that defiles unto God alone 2Cor. 6:17. The convert need regular presence in the church for this, for the following reasons:

1. The church is God’s appointed place for deliverance from all age-long habits Oba. 17; Heb. 10:25. In essence, to see our converts attain unto sanctification thereby take delivery of their inheritance in Christ, they must become established in the church.
2. The church is the cleansing center for God’s people Jn. 15:3. God’s word is what cleanses the believer from all sins, iniquities and defilements Psa. 119:9-11. The church is where God continually releases His word, as the convert become established in the church, he is continually cleansed Eph. 5:25-26.

This month is a prophetic season; it is a month that has great things for the believer that will prophetically engage in the season. And the demand is the ingathering of souls into the church.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive fresh grace for the ingathering of souls into the kingdom, thereby positioning me for the full delivery of the blessing of the season Zch. 4:7.

Action.

Develop the strategy and schedule to deliver the target of getting your entire street to church this month.
