Memory verse:
“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” Mat. 12:30.
We understand from scriptures that the core commandment of God to the believer is reconciling men to Him 2Cor. 5:17-19; Mk. 16:15-16. This is the most rewarding venture any man can be involved in on the earth Mat. 16:26. But a vital demand that makes the believer to take delivery of the great profits of this task is to ensure the reconciled lives are established in God Jn. 15:16. This is why it is not enough for the believer to get souls saved, but must go further to see them gathered into and remain in the church.
Scriptural understanding that empowers the believer for ingathering of souls into church.
- For the realization of the inheritance of our new converts.
New birth has great promises, which when they are actualized the believer is turned to the envy of his world 2Pet. 1:4. The new convert that will enjoy this glorious and enviable life must become an established kingdom citizen, who exhibits the supernatural life of God as his natural lifestyle Acts 20:32. These are some of the benefits of commitment to church that will guarantee this.
- The church is the altar of revelation that empowers believers to take delivery of their inheritance 73:1-2,16-17; Mat. 11:28-29. The church is a highly spiritual center where God shines his light on men that turns them to a light to their world.
- The church is the appointed place for the teaching priests, who have the ministry of opening the eyes of understanding of the saints 15:3-5; Isa. 30:20-21; Eph. 4:8-11. When the believer’s understanding comes alive, he gains access to his inheritance in Christ Psa. 119:144.
- The church is place where the blessings of redemption are distributed 65:4; 132:13-15. How committed one is to the church will determine how much of the inheritance one can take delivery of.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to see every soul you give to me this year gathered and established in your house, thereby making them to fully partake of their inheritance in Christ and fit for eternity with Christ Acts 8:26.
Action.
Go after all your converts to ensure every one of them makes it to church this Sunday.
