Memory verse:   

“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.”                           Mat. 12:30.

The scriptures command every believer to be a soul winner, by getting on the field and reaching out to the unsaved with the love and gospel of Christ Mat. 28:19-20. Furthermore, we must strive to see them embrace Christ as their savior and make a commitment of their lives to Him. But we must understand that every harvest left in the field stands the risk of being devoured by the birds of the air Mat. 12:30. Hence, the need to gather them into the storehouse, in this case the church Psa. 132:13-15.

Scriptural understanding that empowers the believer for ingathering of souls into church.

1. For spiritual growth and development of our new converts.

What the believer received at salvation is not religion or a church, but life Jn. 3:16-17. We call it new life in Christ, supernatural or eternal life. One of the major characteristics of anything that has life is growth. In essence, growth and development is what every new convert must exhibit to validate his new birth and sustain it. The church becomes vital to achieve this in these wise:

7. The church is the spiritual center where the believer grows from strength to strength 84:7. It is the environment that will support the growth of the new life in Christ that the believer has received at new birth.
8. The church is the place where God-ordained shepherds that feed the flock are located 3:15-16; Acts 20:28; Eph. 4:11-19. And it takes good feeding to experience growth.

• The church is the center for spiritual illumination that transforms the lives of believers 73:17; 2Cor. 3:18. It is this transformation that we call growth.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to see every soul you give to me this year gathered and established in your house, thereby making them to fully partake of their inheritance in Christ and fit for eternity with Christ Acts 8:26.

Action.

Educate every of your convert on the importance of addiction to the church.
