Memory verse:   

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

Jn. 15:16.

Every kingdom has the laws that guides the citizen for their beneficial living and the kingdom of God is not excluded Deu. 28:1-2. A fundamental law of God’s kingdom is being a fruitful kingdom citizen Jn. 15:1-2. We are not only called to bear fruit, we are instructed to also ensure our fruits abide Jn. 15:16. This is why gathering souls into the church is very vital, because it is the way to ensure our fruits abide. The danger of not being fruitful is that the believer risk losing his status of being on the Lord’s side Jn. 15:2.

The significance of in-gathering of souls into the church.

1. For the establishment of the new converts in the faith.

Until the new souls won to Christ are established in the faith, they won’t abide in God Mat. 14:30-31. The church is God’s ordained place where the faith is nourished, made strong, resulting in the establishment of the new believer Eph. 4:13-14; Psa. 87:7. The following are some of the things God has packaged in the church to accomplish the establishment of the new convert in the faith.

12. The anointed ministers to nourish the new converts with the word of life for the buildup of faith 4:11-12.
13. The church is God’s appointed depot of His blessing, where He satisfies believers with His goodness every time they appear 65:4; 132:13-15.

• The end time church is the city of refuge for the redeemed, where believers enjoy divine protection to boost his faith 20:2; Heb. 12:20-24.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit to be supernaturally fruitful from today, and for all fruits to abide in the faith Acts 1:8.

Action.

Make the decision to be fruitful, and set goals for yourself for the year.
