“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”

• Eph. 5:20.

The instruction of scriptures is the pathway to fulfillment on the earth and guarantee for experiencing the abundant life in the kingdom Jos. 1:8; Psa. 19:11; 2Tim. 3:16-17. Thanksgiving is a fundamental instruction of scriptures; it must be both in and for all things Eph. 5:20; 1Ths. 5:18. In essence, the believer that will truly experience abundant life must make thanksgiving his lifestyle. One thing that will empower the believer for thanksgiving at all times is the attitude of taking note of every act of God including the ones that will ordinarily be overlooked by men, and consciously bringing them to remembrance Psa. 103:1-2. Here at Living Faith Church, we have set this week aside for thanksgiving to God; the commission clocked 42 today May 2^nd 2023.

What are Some Reasons why we must thank God?

1. For the peace that passes all understanding we have enjoyed since inception.

As a commission, we have not managed any crisis since inception; despite our strange growth, we have peace in all quarters. Peace has its source in God, and it is when God gives His peace that anyone or system can enjoy it Job 34:29; Jn. 14:27. For the peace, God must be acknowledged.

• Not responding in thanksgiving to God’s goodness is pride.

Every good thing comes from God, and we have enjoyed them abundantly since inception Jms. 1:17. When we fail to return to God with thanks for the good things we enjoy, it is viewed as pride in the kingdom Jer. 13:15-17. Pride is the next step to a crash in life Pro. 16:18. This is why we must celebrate God.

• Not regarding the hand of God brings destruction.

Every great accomplishment is by the hand of God, and we have seen great things happen as a commission since inception Psa. 44:1-3. When we disregard this hand of God we open up to devastation Psa. 28:5. This is why it is a must for us to give thanks this week.

• To preserve God’s blessings in our lives.

God’s blessing has lifespan, it is our thanksgiving that makes themd to last long in our lives Mal. 2:1-3; Jer. 13:15-17.

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for all of your goodness and blessing that we have enjoyed as individuals, families, and commission all these years; to you be all the glory Eph. 5:20.

Action.

Do a deep search to identify all that God has done since you became a part of this commission or born again, and give God thanks al through today for them.
