Memory verse:

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

  • 1Cor. 15:58.

The scriptures make it clear that serving God and the interest of His kingdom is not a mere involvement in an activity, but cutting a covenant with God Exo. 23:25-28. We have defined a covenant as a spiritual deal between two or more parties based on clear terms, and sealed with the blood. This covenant is between God and the believer; the believer is to serve God and His kingdom, God in return will reward the believer 1Tim. 4:7-8; Job 36:11. Our God does not break His covenant; when the believer does His part of service well, God’s part of reward is sure to be delivered Psa. 89:34; Jer. 33:25-26. Remember, there is the due time for the rewards, which the believer is expected to keep at until the time Gal. 6:9. If a believer seems to be denied his reward, he has not truly labored, or failed to labor to is due season. We need this covenant mentality to make the most of our opportunities in God’s kingdom.

The covenant mentality for a fruitful walk with God and stewardship.

  1. We must understand that prizes are usually won at the end of a race.

There is no one in a race that receives his prize until at the end of the race. Therefore, only those who engage successfully to the end qualify for the prize Mat. 24:13; 1Cor. 9:24-25. The good news is that in God’s kingdom everyone that runs to the end successfully is qualified for the same order of rewards Mat. 20:8-10.

  • Discipline is a covenant requirement for every prize winner in a race.

Discipline is simply self-control. Everyone that desires to win the prize must apply himself to self-control; to know what must not be allowed and what must be, and do them no matter what others think 1Cor. 9:24-25.

  • Only those who care to press ever obtain the prize.

The kingdom life demands a press to ever make anything out of it Lk. 16:16. A press means giving it all it takes to get what is commanded done Php. 3:13-14; 2Tim. 4:6-8.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me by the Holy Spirit for tireless practice of the covenant till I step into my rewards Eph. 3:16.

Action.

Make a decision to PRESS in kingdom until your rewards become an open testimony to all.

Priestly Blessings.

Be empowered by the Spirit of God for tireless press in kingdom service from now!

Your life shall become open manifestations of God’s rewards from today!
