Memory verse:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
- 1Cor. 15:58.
Redemption brings the believer into the abundant life; a life that has all things made available supernaturally without sweat or struggle by the believer 2Pet. 1:3; 1Cor. 3:21-22. But this life is deliverable on the platform of the covenant; in essence, how faithfully the believer walks in the covenant is what will determine his experience of the abundant life Gen. 17:1-2. A covenant is the understanding that there is always man’s responsibility as specified by God that will commit God to deliver His promise in the life of the believer Deut. 28:1-2. The guarantee we have from scriptures is that when the believer’s side of the deal is fulfilled, God is bound to deliver what He has promised Psa. 89:34; Jer. 33:21-25. The covenant demand on the believer essentially is about service, and a covenant mentality will enhance our consistency at it 1Cor. 15:58.
The covenant mentality for a fruitful walk with God and stewardship.
- God records our labor to determine our rewards.
Everything in God’s kingdom has the record, and the purpose of this is for adequate reward 1Cor. 3:8; Heb. 6:10. In essence, there is nothing that a believer does for God and His kingdom that goes unnoticed, but is duly recorded and rewarded.
- Our secret investment in kingdom advancement prayers attracts open reward.
The scriptures give this understanding that God delights in services done in the secret, where no one’s eyes will see it except God alone Mat. 6:5-6,17-18. One of such is prayer engagement, and in return God rewards the believer openly.
- When our cloud is full, our rain of rewards is bound to fall.
Every service made into the kingdom is an investment into our spiritual account or cloud. At a point our cloud becomes full, thereby qualifying the believer for outpouring of the rain of blessing Eccl. 11:3; Gal. 6:9.
