Memory verse:

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

  • 1Cor. 15:58.

From scriptures, we understand that redemption brings the believer into a new life with promises that are precious, great and exceeding 2Pet. 1:3-4. When these are actualized, scriptures say that the believer will be living the God-order of life while here on earth. To have these promises actualized, we must understand that God’s kingdom operates by covenant Jer. 33:21-26. In essence, everything in the kingdom can only be actualized on the platform of the covenant. God had to make this clear to Abraham by instructing him to walk perfectly in the covenant for the promises He gave him to become a reality Gen. 17:1-2. Remember, a covenant is a deal between God and man based on well defined terms, and sealed with an oath Heb. 6:16. Therefore, a covenant mentality will enhance the consistency of our walk with God and kingdom stewardship 1Cor. 15:58.

The covenant mentality for a fruitful walk with God and stewardship.

  1. God’s covenant is eternally binding on all issues.

God’s covenant is what keeps the day and the night in continuous exchange Jer. 33:21-25. In essence, as long as we see this continuous exchange of day and night, we should be confident that God’s covenant is still in force.

  • God abides faith; He cannot deny Himself.

Our God is a covenant keeper, who will never break His covenant Psa. 89:34. In essence, when our own part of the deal is fulfilled, we are guaranteed the delivery of God’s part, which is the fulfillment of the promise.

  • God is counting the believer’s faithfulness to determine his rewards.

The reward of the believer, which is the delivery of the promises, is a function of his faithful walk or practice of the covenant Lk. 12:42-43. In essence, no one determine what become of a believer, but himself by his faithfulness to the covenant.
