Memory verse:   

“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”

• Psa. 89:34.

We serve the God of covenant; He operates by covenant and keeps His covenant Psa. 89:34. When we understand the covenant of God and operate by it, we are guaranteed access to the blessing of God Jer. 33:20-21. When we carry the consciousness of the covenant, we are confident that our service to God is not a waste, but is guaranteed of reward 1Cor. 15:58. In essence, a covenant mentality will enhance our consistency in kingdom stewardship Exo. 23:25-27.

Covenant mentality that empowers for service of rewards.

1. God’s covenant is eternal and binding on all issues.

In essence, God’s covenant is too strong for anything to revoke or change it Psa. 119:78. When it is God’s covenant we are operating, we have the guarantee of receiving the blessing of God. The only thing that can nullify the covenant is what has the power to alter the day and night from consistent exchange Jer. 33:20-21.

• Our God abides faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

This means that whatever God says He will do, is what He is committed to do Num. 23:19. God does not say a thing and fail to do it, or goes to do another. Therefore, we can be confident in God that He will bless when we serve according to His rules 2Tim. 2:13.

• God is counting our faithfulness to determine our next level of rewards.

It is not enough that we serve, it is important that we serve faithful Mat. 25:21-23. What is faithful service? It is commitment and consistent at doing what God instructs with result to show, with no or little supervision Mat. 24:45-47. When one is faithful, one is sure to be fruitful, and fruits makes for rewards.

Therefore, let us approach the remaining weeks of the on-going harvest season in our drive for souls understanding that we are operating God’s covenant.

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me by your Spirit to remain steadfast in my stewardship to the end Acts 1:8.

Action.

Make a commitment to keep at the stewardship of soul winning until your reward is delivered.
