“But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to

 drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the

 baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.”

Scriptures make us to understand that God’s kingdom operates by clear principles Isa. 28:10-13; 1Cor. 14:33. When these principles are applied, the promises of the kingdom will be automatically delivered. The principle of God’s kingdom is what we call the covenant of God, and it is stronger than the principle of nature and science. This is because whatever that comes from above is above all Jn. 3:31. Therefore, when a believer engages God’s covenant in life, he commands desired result no matter the situation and opposition Jer. 33:20-26.

From scriptures, we understand that serving God is the core demand to invoke God’s attention and intervention Exo. 23:25. The challenge in today’s church is that many keep praying and fasting but are yet struggling because they have not signed into kingdom service. Our teachings this week is focused on the exploits of engaging in serving God, which has always turned any dummy into a celebrity.

Exploring the wonders of serving God.

1. We do not beg to be honored, we serve to our way into honor Jn. 12:24-26.

One way we honor God is by running His errand, and that is service. And when we honor God, we don’t need to pray and fast to enjoy honor in life again, we are bound to have the harvest of honor in return.

• We do not beg for breakthrough, we serve our way into breakthroughs Lk. 5:1-8.

Breakthrough simply means making progress in the face of obvious obstacles and oppositions. A believer does not need to pray against obstacles, just commit to being on the go for Christ, which is service. When this is done, God’s manifest presence is guaranteed, which makes every opposition to give way of themselves Matt. 28:19-20; Psa. 114:1-8.

Serving God is a hidden force of the spirit that many believer need to come to term with. Therefore, the scriptural instruction to serve God is not of God looking for who to stress, rather He looks for who to make whole 2Cor. 5:18-19; Pro. 13:7. The choice to serve God is the choice of the wise in life, make the right choice now.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace for steadfastness in stewardship to the point of my change of story 1Cor. 15:58.

Action.

Draw a daily for your kingdom advancement prayer engagement, and soul winning; pray for the help of the Holy Spirit to keep that schedule.
