God’s kingdom to which we belong is a kingdom of blessing, not a religious system Gal. 3:13-14; Acts. 3:25-26. The work of Christ is not to bring man into a religion, but essentially it is to bring man into the blessings that are available in God’s kingdom. Remember, it is the blessing of God that guarantees a great and glorious life on the earth Pro. 10:22. What all religion are attempting to do is to connect man to these blessings of God. But the lack of the understanding of the way of God’s kingdom to the blessing of the kingdom has left many to keep struggling in religion and suffering in life Eccl. 10:15.

Now, the question is what is God’s way to His blessing? From the scriptures, serving God and the interest of His kingdom is the fundamental demand to gain access to the blessing of the kingdom Exo. 23:25; Matt. 6:33. Our study this week will be focused on the blessedness of service; we believe our eyes of understanding will be open to see what it takes to make everything in life begin to work without struggle henceforth. I believe this week shall mark a new beginning at last for you.

Exploring the wonders of serving God.

1. We do not beg to be blessed, we serve to be blessed Exo. 23:25-26.

In God’s kingdom, the blessing of God does not answer to prayer or fasting. It is service that invoke God’s blessing on individuals. The more you serve, the more you are blessed.

• We do not beg for promotion, we serve our way into promotion Lk. 19:17-19.

In the world system, lobbying is permitted and often is what obtains. And many are tryingto applying same in God’s kingdom. But things do not work like that here, promotion in God’s kingdom is by service. You don’t need to know anyone after the flesh to be lifted as a citizen of God’s kingdom.

In essence, the demand on the believer to serve God is not of God looking for whom to enslave, rather He is looking for who to enthrone Lk. 22:25-27; Dan. 12:3. There is the need therefore to understand what serving God really means, and be steadfast at it until our change of story is testified to by all. I see you emerge the next headline story.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace for steadfastness in stewardship to the point of my change of story 1Cor. 15:58.

Action.

Define what serving God means, and research to see whether your concept or understanding of service is scripturally correct.
