Memory verse:   

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”

We have established from scriptures that serving God is the believer’s access to the world of blessing in life Exo. 23:25-26. And the scriptures teach us that with access to God’s blessing, a believer is guaranteed the life of success and glory Pro. 10:22. In essence, petitioning God in prayer and fasting is not the believer’s principal channel to having things turn but serving God. Therefore, our level of commitment to and consistence in serving God is the secret to greatness for the believer Lk. 22:22-27; Mat. 20:20-22.

Kingdom provisions that we access through serving God.

1. We serve to become fruitful as kingdom citizens.

One of the heritages of the believer is fruitfulness, which is in all aspects and areas of life Gen. 1:28. In essence, the believer is not to struggle to be fruitful, it is his normal right. But it will not happen automatically, also we do not beg to have children, we serve God and the interest of His kingdom to be fruitful Exo. 23:25-26; Psa. 127:3.

• We serve to be healed and healthy in the kingdom.

New birth re-introduce the believer into the life devoid of sickness and disease as experienced by Adam at the beginning Jn. 10:10. Redemption empowers the believer to enjoy healing and health Jn. 1:12. This is not automatic, and we do not beg to be healed, it is as we serve God that we access health and vitality 2Cor. 5:18-20; Pro. 13:17.

Serving God is not placing a burden on the believer, it is giving him the platform to experience the fullness of kingdom life. In essence, God is not looking for whom to humiliate, He is looking for whom to honor Pro. 14:28; 1Sam. 2:30.

Jesus is Lord!

Prayer.                                                

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive grace afresh for renewed service and to remain committed until my turnaround is testified to by all Zch. 4:6-7.

Action.

Again get on the field today, put in extra effort to secure more souls for Christ.
