Redemption brought believers into the inheritance of God’s family; one of which is fruitfulness (Acts 20:32; Psa. 1:3; 127:3-5). Fruitfulness is vital for every believer for the following reasons among many:
- God commands it (Gen. 1:28).
- God frowns at unfruitfulness (Lk. 13:6-9).
- Fruits define and determine the future (Jn. 15:1-2).
Fruitfulness is the heritage of every believer, but access is only by those who accept responsibility.
Covenant Responsibilities for Fruitfulness.
- Revelation on the Word of Fruitfulness.
It is only what we see from the Word that can be actualized in one’s life (Jer. 1:11-12; Gen. 13:14-15). This means that one needs to labor in the Word to catch revelation of fruitfulness, then it becomes unstoppable in one’s life (Pro. 24:14).
- Be Committed to Serving God.
Serving God empowers for supernatural fruitfulness (Exo. 23:25-26). Being fruitful is one of the rewards a believer enjoys for serving God and the interests of His kingdom (Psa. 127:3).
- Be Dedicated to God.
Dedication is the mystery of supernatural fruitfulness; dedication connotes being sold out to God and the course of His kingdom (Jn. 12:24-26). As long as a believer is dedicated to God, he is guaranteed fruitfulness even at old age (Psa. 92:12-15; 128:1-6).
- Be Joyful and Rejoice.
Joy and rejoicing are covenant facilitators of fruitfulness (Isa. 54:1-3; 1Sam. 1:13-15). Everyone who desires supernatural fruitfulness must refuse to allow anything or anyone steal his joy, else he is robbed of his fruits (Joel 1:11-12; Isa. 61:3; Rms. 4:17-20).
Conclusion.
Understand that our heavenly Father is the baby maker; believers are not permitted to be baby beggars (Psa. 100:3; 132:4). Also, our heavenly Father is the force behind fruitfulness in all areas of life; believers are not permitted to lack desired fruits (Psa. 84:11; Jn. 15:5).
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, the plague of barenness and unfruitfulness is destroyed by the power of the blood in my life today (Eph. 1:17-18).
- Father, I am blessed, and by the power of God’s blessing I am supernaturally fruitful from today (Deu. 7:14).
- Father, I call forth my desired fruit right now (Rms. 4:17).
