God has the experience of showers of blessings for His children in life (Ezk. 34:25-27). The shower of blessing is a covenant, which means that there are demands to qualify or experience it (Jer. 33:20-21). This means showers of blessing are a personal responsibility, only those who are committed to the covenant demands will experience the showers.

The Covenant Responsibilities to Activate Showers of Blessing.

  1. Be Genuinely Born Again.

True salvation is non-negotiable to be entitled to experience showers of blessings (Acts 3:19).

  1. Be Committed to Obedience of Faith as a Lifestyle.

Obedience of faith means compliance with God’s word in detail with excitement (Heb. 11:7-8). Obedience of faith secures open heaven and outpouring of showers of blessing on a believer (Deu. 28:1-3).

  1. Be Committed to Serving God.

Serving God with joyfulness and gladness of heart is a covenant key that opens heaven for outpouring of showers of blessings (Deu. 28:47-48; Hab. 3:17-19).

  1. Be Committed to Engage Your Resources in Kingdom Advancement.

Financial commitment to kingdom advancement endeavors opens the heavens over a believer, for showers of blessing on his life (Hag. 1:5-13; Mat. 6:33).

  1. Through Priestly Blessing.

Priestly blessing refers to pronouncement by God’s servant placed over your life or sent to you, on issues that have to do with your life (Num. 6:23-27). Such pronouncements move God and invoke showers of blessings on a believer (1Kgs. 17:14-16).

Conclusion.

You cannot be under the showers of blessings and experience hardship, difficulty, and troubles that others go through (Pro. 10:22). But experiencing the showers is a personal responsibility; it cannot be done by someone for another. Over to you!

Salvation Prayer.

To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer aloud with me from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. You died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, my sins are forgiven; I am justified by your blood; I am born-again; I am saved; I am a child of God; I am free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”

Prayer.

  1. Father, I receive the grace to embrace covenant responsibilities for showers of blessings as a lifestyle from today (1Cor. 15:10).
