We serve a covenant keeping God, who deals with His children on covenant basis only and always Psa. 89:34; Jer. 33:20-21. By covenant, believers are not permitted to experience what the world suffer Jn. 10:10; Isa. 54:14; Deu. 15:6. In Egypt, God’s covenant people, the Israelite were exempted from all plagues Exo. 8:20-24; 9:1-7,18-26; 10:21-22; 11:4-7; 12:29-31. All through human history, covenant people usually flourish in hard times Gen. 47:15-27; Psa. 33:18-19. The secret is their commitment to walk in the covenant of God no matter the situation Gen. 17:1-2; Jer. 33:20-21.
The Demands for Walking in the Covenant of Exemption.
- Be Born Again.
This is the first and non-optional step into all covenant of God Jn. 3:3-6. At salvation, we receive the mark of Christ, which is what exempts us from all evil Gal 6:17; Ezk 9:4-6.
- Have a Revelation of Exemption in Christ.
In God’s kingdom, only what we see that we become entitled to experience Gen. 13:14-15; Jer. 1:11-12. This means the revelation of our exemption in Christ is qualifies us to the experience Exo 19: 4 – 6; Eph 1:17 – 19.
- Develop a Covenant Exemption Mentality
Our mentality determines our experience in reality Pro 23:7; 4:23. We must cultivate exemption mentality, and this is by feeding ourself with God’s word on exemption Col 3:16; Rms. 12:2.
- Be Committed to Loving God.
The love of God is identified as the strongest covenant force on the earth 1Ccor 13:13. When we keep the love of God alive in our heart, we have secured ourselves against every force of evil Rms 8:28; 1Cor 2:9.
- Be Committed to Serving God.
Serving God invokes God into the situation of believers, which result in his exemption from all evil Exo. 4:22-23; 2Chr. 15:12,15. This means, when we commit to pursuit after God’s kingdom as a priority, we are guaranteed exemption from all evil in lie Mat. 6:33.
Conclusion.
God has made the provision for us to be different in our experience from that of the world. All of these is determined by how much that we accept the responsibility.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father in the name of Jesus, by the authority of God’s word, what the word suffer shall never come around me life from today 6:17.

The altar of prayer and fasting is the altar of express answers to prayers Isa. 58:6,9. Answers to our prayers are dependent on our level of empowerment Eph. 3:20. Thanksgiving is a cheap way to invoke God’s power; it facilitates delivery of answers to our prayers Psa. 92:1-2,10; Php. 4:6-7. We must therefore look forward […]
The scripture is not a history text or religious book, which we memorize and quote. The scripture described herself as the “more sure word of prophecy” 2Pet. 1:19-21. It is the documentation containing God’s prophetic agenda for His church and His people Isa. 29:11-12; Acts 20:32. Hence, God has spoken about everything that concerns our […]
Curses are real! What are curses? They are negative forces in unseen realm that work failure, evil, and ruin no matter the effort of the individual Zch. 5:3-4. These forces called curses can be generational in nature, with a lifespan of 3 to 4 generations, which means 300 to 400 years Exo. 20:3-5; Gen. 15:13-16. […]
Life is a gift from God, ordained to be good, great, and glorious Acts 17:25; Jms. 1:17. The experience of people is each one’s responsibility Deu. 2:24. Two basic responsibilities for life experience that will always be good are; make the right choice always, and take the right steps all the time Deu. 30:19; Jos. […]
