The scripture is not a history text or religious book, which we memorize and quote. The scripture described herself as the “more sure word of prophecy” 2Pet. 1:19-21. It is the documentation containing God’s prophetic agenda for His church and His people Isa. 29:11-12; Acts 20:32. Hence, God has spoken about everything that concerns our life as contained in scripture; everyone’s life on the earth is a script that is written already, which we are expected to act out. Therefore, success will come without struggle as we receive, believe, and put God’s prophetic agenda to work Jn. 1:12; Lk. 1:45; Jms. 2:18.
How to Receive God’s Prophetic Agenda.
- Seek to Know it.
To receive a thing involves knowing it, or having it unveiled. We must go for the knowledge of what God has said in His word about us, in order to receive His prophetic agenda for our lives Jn. 5:39; Hos. 4:6; Psa. 82:5.
- Embrace it as Personal.
Take what God has said that you have come to know as meant for you personally Jn. 1:11-12; Mat. 14:27-29.
How to Believe God’s Prophetic Agenda.
Understanding is what facilitates believe; one can only believe what he has come to understand Acts 8:30-31,35-37. This means that for one to believe God’s prophetic agenda, one need to understand what prophecy is.
What are Prophecies?
- Prophecies are not religious wishes, but the unfolding of divine plan.
God has His plan for everyone’s life before sending us to the earth Jer. 1:4-5; Gal. 1:15-16.
- Prophecies are what God has said concerning our life and situation.
God has the nature of saying things before He does them; He has said everything about our lives before making and sending us to the earth Isa. 42:8-9; 46:9-10. Understand that God speaks according to what He can and will do, we can therefore believer what He says, which is what triggers them to manifestation Isa. 14:24; Lk. 1:45.
Every prophetic word received and believed keeps believers on the go, both in and out of season 1Cor. 9:24-27; Hab. 2:1-3.
Putting God’s Prophetic Agenda to Work.
We must continue to water the seed of prophetic word in our hearts for it to come to pass, and this is by praise Pro. 12:14; 13:2; Heb. 13:15.
How Praise Facilitates Fulfilment of Prophecies.
- Praise Focuses on the Efficacy of What is Written and not What is Happening.
What our eyes focuses on is what becomes our experience Jer. 1:11-14; Gen. 13:14-15. Praise makes our eyes to be focused on what God says and not the happenings, which result in the delivery of the things that God has spoken Psa. 56:4,10; 1THS. 5:18,24.
2. Praise Secures God’s Presence that Clears off All Barriers to Fulfilment of Prophecies.
All barriers to fulfilment of prophecies clear our path as we sustain God’s presence through praise Psa. 114:1-8; 22:3; Acts 16:25-30.
3. Praise is the Kingdom Mystery that Makes Things Happen.
In praise, we invoke divine ability, which make things that are ordained by God to come to pass by force Psa. 67:5-7; LK. 17:17-19. This means, we do not just praise God for what has happened, we are to praise God for things to happen.
Conclusion.
You can make the choice today that will make you never to struggle again in life. This is simply by the choice to engage the lifestyle of praise on God’s prophetic agenda for one’s life. I see a new life spring forth in you from this moment.
Salvation Prayer.
To anyone reading this who desires to give their life to Christ, pray this prayer out loud with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me; on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you, Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen!”
Prayer.
- Father, empower me by your Spirit for the lifestyle of praise that will make every prophetic word to be fulfilled in my life in the few weeks left this year 61:1,3.
