Memory verse:
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of
some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the
day approaching.”
- Heb. 10:25.
The scriptures recorded about king David that going into the house of God was always an excitement to him Psa. 122:1-2. Scriptures has it that he goes into the temple daily three times to pray and seven times to praise God; what a thing on earth to do! Psa. 55:17; 119:164. King David was the king of Israel; it is like being the president of the most powerful nation today. Definitely, for him to be so excited in always going into the house of God and doing it minimum ten times a day says a lot about God’s house. Men of that caliber only attend to most important things, while they delegate others to appropriate subordinates. King David will not delegate going to God’s house to any subordinate, shows it is very important. And scriptural records have it that king David till date is the greatest leader Israel as a nation has experienced. This cannot be divulged from his commitment to God’s house.
The question we have been addressing in our teachings this week has been, what makes fellowship a place the believer must be committed to? I trust God again to shine His light into your life again today in Jesus name.
The Wonders of Being Committed to Fellowship.
- We build spiritual capacity that empowers for exploits in fellowship Psa. 84:7; 87:1-7; Dan. 11:32.
Everything in the physical has its root in the spirit, and everything in the physical is controlled from the spirit realm. The spiritual capacity of a believer therefore defines his experience on the earth. Fellowship is where the believers spirit is built up, to make him gain mastery on the earth.
- Commitment to fellowship facilitates express answers to prayers Matt. 18:19; Dan. 2:16-28.
The scriptures make us to understand that there is something about number, especially when the people are in agreement. It generates greater power than when it is one person, and the greater power makes for better and faster response to our prayer Eccl. 4:9-12; Eph. 3:20. Therefore, fellowship offers to the believer express answer to prayers, making the believer to enjoy things that he might have never gotten praying alone.
The wise believer takes advantage of fellowship to gain access to things that have proved difficult to him as a person. Without telling or reporting to anyone, stepping into fellowship with the expectation in your heart from God guarantees the release of whatever it is.
Jesus is Lord!

Priestly Blessings.
I decree the fire of God is kindled afresh on you to fire your commitment to fellowship to a new level!
