Understanding the ways of God is vital to maximize life and enjoy the best of God’s provision Psa. 103:7. Thanksgiving is a fundamental way of God that will always cause God to respond actively in the life of the believer Psa. 92:1-2,10. The outcome of this is that God is moved to perform every word He has spoken concerning the life of the believer that seems to have failed Ezk. 12:25-28. Therefore, all that a believer need to see things happen as ordained by God in his life is to adopt the lifestyle of thanksgiving.

How Thanksgiving works to deliver prophetic words.

1. Understand that prophetic words are ordained for fulfillment.

Every word declared by God about the future of an individual or people is what is called prophecy Isa. 42:9. God does not just speak to inform, when God speaks it is to perform what He has spoken Isa. 14:24; 55:10-11. Therefore, every time a declaration goes forth from God, we are to understand that there will certainly be the fulfillment of same.

• Thanksgiving will invoke God’s hand to perform what He says.

We understand from scriptures that thanksgiving is a trigger to God’s hand, which is responsible for performing whatever the mouth of God has declared Psa. 89:1,21; 1Kgs. 8:15. Paul and Silas were locked in the prison, they understood that every child of God is redeemed to be free and free indeed Jn. 8:32. At first, they demanded for their freedom on the prayer platform and seems nothing was going to happen. they immediately changed to engage in singing praise unto God, and the response was instant as God’s hand was invoked into the scene to effect their freedom Acts 16:25-30,

God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo will always say; if you have tried everything and it has failed, try thanksgiving and praise. As you engage these covenant forces, I can see you end the year with amazing change of story.

Prayer.                                                

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to flow in thanksgiving ceaselessly thereby making me take delivery of the best for the year Isa. 61:1,3.

Action.

Refuse to allow anything to tamper with the joy of God in your heart; celebrate for everything in and around your life.
