Memory verse:

“And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,”

  • 1Kgs. 8:15.

Scriptures make us to understand that the character of God, among others is that God reserves the best to the end Eccl. 7:8; Jn. 2:10. In essence, the last moment of this year that we are already in, has the best of turnaround testimonies in store for us by God’s design. But we have the responsibility to move God’s hand before we can experience what the season has in store for us Psa. 127:1-2; Jn. 15:5. From scriptures, we understand that thanksgiving is a covenant requirement to see God’s hand stretched forth to fulfill His promises and provisions 1Ths. 5:18; Heb. 10:36.

How Thanksgiving works to deliver the best at the end.

  1. Thanksgiving triggers God’s word into manifestation.

We must understand that prophetic scriptures are settled in heaven forever Psa. 119:89. This means that every word of God as contained in scriptures are not things God is going to make happen, but have already done Matt. 24:35. But they are relevant only as they become a reality in the physical. In thanksgiving, we move God’s hand to deliver His settled word in heaven in the physical Rms. 4:20-21.

  • Christ showed us an example.

Jesus declared prophetically that the hour has come when the dead shall hear His voice and live Jn. 5:25. Then came the scenario when Lazarus His friend died and was already four days in the grave Jn. 11:39. Jesus engaged this mystery of thanksgiving, called forth Lazarus, and the dead came back to life in fulfillment of the prophetic word Jn. 11:41-44.

I want you to know that it is not over until it is finally over. The closer we are to the final end of the year, the more of the best of the prophetic blessings ordained for the year that is available for us to take delivery of. But this is as we engage the mystery of thanksgiving.

Jesus is Lord!
