Thanksgiving is acknowledging what God has done and returning the glory to Him Psa. 103:1-2; 96:7-8. Every time God does a thing, His glory is revealed. This glory must be consciously and immediately returned to God, we do this by giving thanks to God Jer. 13:15-17. One thing that God cannot stand or overlook is His glory to be taken by another Isa. 42:8. God’s glory is a thing jealously guarded by Him, and anyone that attempted it never recovers from the devastation Dan. 4:29-22; Acts 12:21-23. This is why God’s instruction is for His children to always give Him thanks 1Ths. 5:18.
The power the believer releases in thanksgiving.
- Our God is never late.
Many believers have this misconception that God is sure but slow, hence His acts often come late. There is nothing more erroneous than this concept, it is the deception of the devil to weary and rob the believer of his glorious life. The scriptures make it clear that our God acts are quick Rms. 9:28; Jn. 11:21-25. In essence, anyone that follows God is guaranteed of the rewards instantly.
- Thanksgiving facilitates the quick work of God.
Thanksgiving is the covenant way to stir God to His quick work Jn. 11:39-44; Rms. 4:17-20. Whenever God hears His children celebrate Him, He is moved to do things spontaneously and amazingly. Therefore, if you have suffered delay and stagnation, turn to praise to cause your testimony to be released right away.

Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I make the choice for thanksgiving; I receive the grace to be committed for life Zch. 4:6.
Action.
Give thanks for everything that has caused you pain and suffered stagnation.

From today, nothing shall drag or be slow in your life again!
Everything that you have desired of God shall come to you quick from now!
