We have see from scriptures that thanksgiving is not just an item in our church services, but it is the lifestyle of the kingdom which will enable the believer to experience the abundant life Christ has promised Jer. 30:19. We have defined thanksgiving as the attitude of appreciating God for who He is and that He has done in our live Psa. 103:1-5. In essence, the believer must be disciplined enough to acknowledge everything God does in his life, and return consciously to appreciate God for them Mal. 2:1-3. Scriptures makes us to understand this is vital for the believer to keep experiencing the blessings of God that makes for life and godliness.

This is the missing link in the life of many believers, which explains the undue struggle they experience. The opposite of thanksgiving is complaint, murmuring or grumbling. To men, these three might secure their sympathy but in the kingdom they attract God’s wrath and destruction 1Cor. 10:10. I see you delivered from the yoke of murmuring and complaint this moment! What is in thanksgiving that makes it powerful?

1. Thanksgiving engenders supernatural multiplication.

We serve the God of multiplication Deut. 1:11; Gen. 22:17. Who has ordained his children for continuous multiplication in life Pro. 4:18. Christ came and demonstrated the kingdom life to the believer in His earthly ministry, and it was characterized with continuous multiplication on every side. For instance, Bible record has it that the people that followed Jesus multiplied from multitude to great multitude Mk. 2:13; 4:1. But thanksgiving is a vital key to commanding supernatural multiplication Jer. 30:19.Jesus had the challenge to feed the multitude with meager resources, but he engaged the power of thanksgiving and what He had supernaturally multiplied to meet the need He had with left over that was more than the  resources He had at the beginning Jn. 6:6-11.

Therefore, the believer is not permitted to suffer lack or stagnation when he learns the lifestyle of thanksgiving.

Prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the oil of gladness and the grace for the lifestyle of thanksgiving thereby bringing me into the fullness of the glorious life God ordained for me Psa. 45:6-7.
