Prophecy is the unveiling of God’s plan and purpose for a nation, a people or an individual Gen. 15:13-16; 18:10-12. Every prophecy is ordained for fulfilment, when God says it; it has the guarantee of performance Isa. 55:11. Prophecy has two main sources:
But the believer has a responsibility to see prophecy come to fulfilment 1Tim. 1:18; Isa. 5:1-13.
The Validity of Prophecies.
Prophecies are not religious wishes or mere predictions; they are sworn verdicts Isa. 14:24. Often, prophecies don’t agree with human standards, because God speaks according to what He can do, not what we can do Gen. 22:17-18; Isa. 14:24.
The Believer’s Responsibilities for Fulfilment of Prophecy.
Until a prophetic word is received and believed, it never gets fulfilled Mat. 13:22-23; Mk. 4:30-32; Lk. 8:11,15: 2Pet. 1:19-21. To receive a prophetic word means one takes it as a word personally for him. To believe means to agree and expect the fulfilment of it no matter the contrary situation. When a prophetic word is received and believed, it drives off all fears, thereby empowering the pursuit for its fulfilment Hab. 2:1-3; 1Cor. 9:24-27.
Remember, praise will always invoke God to work, resulting in His wonders Exo. 15:11. In essence, when we praise God for any prophetic word, we move Him to work to deliver the word in our lives with speed Psa. 56:4,10.
Scriptural Example of Prophecy Fulfilled through Praise.
The example of Abraham.
Abraham had a prophetic word concerning the birth of his son of promise Gen. 17:4-8; 18:9-14. He engaged the mystery of praise on the prophetic word in spite of all odds and contrary situation Rms. 4:16-21. And through his praise, He moved God to fulfil His word by visiting Sarah, who conceived and gave birth to Isaac at an old age contrary to human and medical verdict Gen. 21:1-6.
In conclusion, God has spoken certain things concerning your life this year. God was not joking when He said those things; they were ordained to be fulfilled this year in your life. Please, understand that it is not yet late to take delivery of them this year. But to see those prophetic words come to fulfilment, we only need to remain strong in faith, and demonstrate it by giving glory to God like Abraham did Rms. 4:20-21.EVERY PROPHETIC WORD CONCERNING YOU THIS YEAR SHALL BE FULLY DELIVERED BEFORE THE YEAR IS OVER!
To anyone reading this that will love to give his/her life to Christ, pray this prayer loudly with me from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins; wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me and on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus, for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.”
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the Holy Spirit afresh on my life for the lifestyle of praise, thereby empowering to take full delivery of every prophetic word for me for this year Rms. 4:20-21.
