The scriptures make us to understand that the devil does not have the power to do things at will in a believer’s life Eph. 4:27. Every believer has the responsibility to determine the outcome of his life Deu. 30:19. Why do we have so many believers attributing their undoing and problems to Satan and his agents? It is simply because of their lack of understand of the kingdom way to take charge over one’s life. A fundamental one is giving thanks in everything, this makes life to begin to answer according to the believer’s desires Psa. 92:1-2;10-15.
Understanding how thanksgiving works to deliver testimonies.
- The example of the Israelite at the wall of Jericho.
The Israelite have entered the promised land, but are yet to have any settlement. Jericho was the ‘gateway city’ to the land of Canaan, their promised land. The city had a wall around it that was massive enough to have building where people (Rahab) live constructed on it Jos. 2:14. The challenge for the Israelite was how to take care of the wall in order to possess Jericho Jos. 6:1-2. The Israelite celebrated God with a loud shout, this moved God’s hand that brought the wall down and enabled them to take over Jericho Jos. 6:15-20.
- Thanksgiving is God’s way out of every impossible situation.
There is the way of God to everything; often, this is totally the opposite of the way of men to the same thing Isa. 55:8-9. But the way of God is sure and guaranteed Isa. 55:11. God’s way to turn impossible situations with men to a testimony is engaging in thanksgiving Rms. 4:20-21; Gen. 21:6-7.
Jesus is Lord!
Prayer.
Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the answer to all my expectations at Shiloh 2023, I know my testimonies are released already Rms. 4:20.
Action.
Recount the things that have refused to work in you rlife this year, and celebrate God for them.
